Responsibilities

  • Responsible for Elanco’s Web Hosting platform services and support

  • Vendor and Service Management for delivery of Web Hosting, Web Development, Web Master content and support for all services

  • Vendor and Service Management for queue management on all Incidents, requests, changes, problems and project requests into the Digital IT team

  • Responsible for the operational update of the global inventory for all Digital assets

Web Hosting platform services and support

  • Responsible for web hosting processes and documentation

  • Define web hosting capabilities and technology along with the Digital Architect and act as subject matter expert for those capabilities to the rest of the team and our IT and Business partners

  • Hosting and CMS maintenance activities, ensuring no compliance gaps and all processes and policies are adhered to

  • Responsible for go-live activity coordination for all digital assets within our web hosting platforms

  • Responsible for life-cycle management activities (retirement, reporting, refresh, migration etc.) across all web hosting platforms

  • Responsible for Quality / validation of the web hosting platforms, working with Quality IT

  1. Including periodic review of hosted assets

  2. Including quality activities conducted during the process of making a website live

Vendor and Service Management for delivery of Web Hosting, Web Development, Web Master content and support for all services

  • Responsible for the delivery of web hosting through our Vendor agreements to ensure SLAs, documentation and compliance

  • Responsible for the delivery of Web Development services through our Vendors to provide quotes, work orders and to initiate development services across the group

  • Responsible for the delivery of Web Master content provision to ensure content change requests are managed and effectively executed and remain compliant

  • Service management excellence ensuring SLAs are met, full utilization of resources and accountability of the vendor for delivery, quality and compliance of these services

Vendor and Service Management for queue management on all Incidents, requests, changes, problems and project requests into the Digital IT team

  • Responsible for all incidents, requests, changes, problems and projects that are entered into either Ignite or ServiceNow or come through email

  • Overall responsible for Queue management to ensure timely delivery to SLAs

Responsible for the operational update of the global inventory for all Digital assets & working with Digital compliance

  • Keeping our ServiceNow and Ignite inventory fully up to date at all times

  • Constantly improving processes and automating inventory maintenance

  • Working with our Digital compliance contact on inventory updates and compliance requirements for the platform, capabilities, tools and technologies

Key Performance Indicators (Indicate how performance for this role will be measured)

  • Complete digital inventory, up to date and auditable

  • Fully documented processes for Web Hosting tools and technologies

  • Alignment with Lilly processes, roadmap and platforms

  • Platforms and tools fully patched, functional and aligned with strategy and roadmap

  • Compliance & Quality documentation and processes fully up to date and audit ready

  • Measure, monitor and achieve KPIs.

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree

  • 5 years experience in vendor services platform creation and technological support

  • Qualified candidates must be legally authorized to be employed in the United States. Lilly does not anticipate providing sponsorship for employment visa status (e.g., H-1B or TN status) for this employment position.

Additional Skills/Preferences

  • Any post-grad qualifications desirable (such as Master’s degree) in IT, Informatics or IT related subjects

  • Depth of knowledge in Digital Technology (specifically web hosting & web technologies)

  • Minimum 3 years experience working in a Web technology related role

  • Knowledge of broader Digital platforms and tools

  • Minimum 5 years in-depth experience with digital and Web Hosting systems. Experience with CrownPeak, Heroku, Contentful, Github, Exact Target/SalesForce Marketing Cloud, Social Media platforms, Mobile application development, eLearning platforms, eDetailing platforms an advantage

  • Experience in Service Management and Vendor Management

  • Demonstrated experience in leadership of complex projects

  • Minimum 3 years of technical leadership roles that have global systems, impact and implications.

Additional Information

  • This position is not permanent. It is for a fixed duration of two years with potential to extend annually for up to 4 years.
