Responsibilities Lilly USA IT Solution and Insights Services is responsible for driving technology innovation for the US Affiliate. This role will primarily be responsible for system and data integration solution delivery efforts. This position will report to the IT manager primarily responsible for solution delivery and innovation. The person in this role will:

  • Develop data-centric solutions to be used by business teams within the US Sales and Marketing Affiliate

  • Consult with internal customers (e.g. Brand teams) to develop analyses that lead to actionable insights

  • Work with data from multiple internal and external data sources to create integrated views to be used in driving decisions

  • Achieve technical proficiency in the core tools used by the solution services team (e.g. SQL, SSAS, Tableau, Netezza)

  • Work in Agile Sprints with business facing project teams

  • Learn business processes and data used by business functions

Key Responsibilities:

  • Partner with and influence IT and business team members to drive solution delivery

  • Partner with internal and external technical teams to understand the appropriate menu of technologies and tools, and then leverage for solution delivery efforts

  • Design and build data visualizations

  • Develop proof of concepts

  • Understand the key elements of the project related data and business usage

  • Ensure design and development adheres to quality and compliance requirements

  • Responsible for the solution system performance and user experience (UX/UI)

  • Partner with vendor resources on solution development to ensure understanding of data and technical direction for solutions

  • Develop technical requirements and solution designs

  • Responsible for system testing, ensuring effective resolution of defects

  • Stay abreast of tools and technologies to provide best solutions to business

  • Ensure adherence to appropriate quality standards and risk-based decision making for all delivery efforts

  • Ensure successful transition of applications to service management team through planning and knowledge transfer

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree

  • 2+ years IT experience

  • 2+ years expertise with ETL and Business Intelligence tools and solutions
