Responsibilities Modern Meeting Space is program within the Digital Workplace Services organization that delivers a new IT-focus approach to the technology used in Conference Rooms and other meeting spaces, where we have taken historically offline Audio-Visual components and bring them online and be centrally managed for faster upgrades and report-ability of issues and usage data.

This DWS Infrastructure position will be an integral role within the Modern Meeting Space program to serve as the infrastructure platform lead. This position will focus on the sustaining the operational management of Modern Meeting Spaces two core platforms: AMX Resource Management Suite and Intel Unite:

RMS Server Support, Lilly's Global RMS infrastructure

  • Maintain Operational Runtime of the Lilly's RMS servers, including off hours unplanned outages

  • Patch and Version upgrades with related Testing of the RMS.

  • Updating of RMS quality, security and operational documentation as needed

  • Work closely with the developers to manage the SDK version being used

RMS Operational Support

  • Uploading and maintaining AMX device firmware on Transport Servers

  • Creating and Maintaining Locations, the related alerts and monitoring to appropriate support teams

  • Work to integrating alerts into Lilly's Service Now incident management system

  • Submitting and tracking RMS and device support tickets with AMX

  • Notifications to appropriate support teams of assets with extended outages

  • Notifications of RMS planned outages to appropriate support teams

  • Adding and maintaining Asset Management Database with deployment information

Unite Server Support

  • Maintain Operational Runtime of the Lilly's Unite servers, including off hours unplanned outages

  • Patch and Version upgrades with related Testing of Unite.

  • Updating of Unite quality, security and operational documentation as needed

Unite Hub & Client Support

  • Patch and Version upgrades with related Testing of the Unite Hub and Unite Client (Windows/Mac/iOS).

  • Work with the Lilly teams (SCCM) to build upgrade packages for Intel Hub & Client patches/upgrades

  • Test and Verify Intel Hub with Microsoft updates and other Lilly clients (AV, SCCM, etc)

  • Test and verify new hardware versions/options

  • Work with Lilly's EPO to configure and establish vPro support capability for remote support

  • Updating of Unite quality and operational documentation as needed

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree

  • 2+ years in an Information Technology-related field with focus on A/V and video conferencing technologies.

  • Qualified candidates must be legally authorized to be employed in the United States. Lilly does not anticipate providing sponsorship for employment visa status (e.g., H-1B or TN status) for this employment position

Additional Skills/Preferences

  • Thorough understanding of industry standards and best practices for computer system validation

  • A combination of experience and knowledge of the following technology categories: Web Servers (IIS, Apache), Operating Systems (Linux, Windows), Load Balancing and High Availability, Database Management Systems (Oracle, SQL Server, Custom Scripts),

  • Contributing to the Global Conference Support community with knowledge sharing, especially around AMX and Unite

  • Experience in working in an international and multicultural environment where team members are spread into different countries

  • Understanding of ITIL processes

  • Demonstrated learning agility
