Organization Overview:

The Lilly Corporate Standards Laboratory (CSL) is an ISO/IEC 17025:2017 accredited metrology laboratory. We specialize in the calibration and repair of a variety of standards used within production and research areas.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform calibrations and corrective maintenance on disciplines for which they have completed the Qualified Employee Program (QEP).

  • Understand and analyze the data generated in order to make decisions and offer technical advice relative to customer equipment.

  • Work closely with the Team Leader and Metrologist in scheduling and executing maintenance activities.

  • Prioritize daily workload for optimal efficiency.

  • Support other calibration team members as business needs arise.

  • Understand and strictly adhere to corporate and local standard operating procedures.

  • Always maintain a safe work environment.

  • Always keep work area ready for inspection.

  • Responsible for understanding and following the safety procedures and policies pertinent to the job.

  • Make appropriate suggestions for procedure revisions.

  • Proactively maintain learning plan.

Basic Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent education

  • Previous experience with the maintenance of instrumentation

  • Ability to learn quickly and work in a team environment

Additional Skills/Preferences:

  • Associates degree in relevant field

  • Previous experience with instrument calibration, working in a GMP environment, and executing work within a CMMS (GMARS)

  • Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel)

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Additional Information:

  • Full-time position

  • Typically, 8 hour work days from Monday through Friday

  • Overtime occasionally required

  • Some travel may be required
