Responsibilities Facilities duties:
Handling, moving and storing laboratory equipment, furniture and other bulk items for the facilities
Monitor and maintain liquid nitrogen and compressed gas supplies in labs
Safely collect laboratory & medical waste and prepare for shipment
Monitor and maintain lab consumables databases to include the replenishing of the Lab consumable supplies
Monitor and maintain all cold storage units for the ACLS site
Maintain various logs
Collect purified water samples as per procedures
Office Services duties
Sort, deliver, collect, post and forward U.S. mail
Maintain copiers, printers and Resource Centers supplied and filled
Monitor and maintain pantry supplies, stock coffee, cups and dairy products
Maintenance of storage areas and records
Setup and cleanup conference rooms for meetings, seminars & luncheons
Receive, log, distribute packages using tracking system
Prepare outgoing shipments for various carriers
Update SAP receiving records and maintain various logs
High school diploma/GED
1+ year corporate office services experience related experience (e.g. material stocking, bulk material handling and movement, office support, mailroom services)
Completion of Post Offer Exam, Completion of Work Simulation or Completion of Administrative Skills Testing if applicable.

Associates degree credentials a plus
Organization and inventory experience
Basic computer skills
Use of basic tools
Handling of compressed gas and cryogenic cylinders experience desirable
Must be able to communicate clearly and effectively, both written and verbally
Must be able to work independently and in a team setting
Additional Information This position is located in New York.
Must be able to lift 50lbs and to climb a ladder.
