Job Summary:

  • Develop and Implement an integrated strategic communications plan (internal and external) to inform, engage and align stakeholders highlighting the Company's vision, priorities and initiatives

  • Help maintain company’s brand integrity, improve brand perception, expand brand awareness and build employee engagement by managing external and internal communication platforms, tools and efforts

  • Media and Crisis Management

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement brand communication strategy (external and internal) in line with global and local policy and aligned with affiliate business plan and activities;

  • Foster relationships with media contacts, KOLs, bloggers and other relevant influencers, and manage PR outreach;

  • Manage and drive robust company-level communications programs and a strong player in stakeholder engagement to develop company stories and effectively shape company’s profile

  • External communications

    Create compelling content and qualitative messaging that can be shared in a complex communication structure

    Coordinate briefing and advise of the affiliate management team on certain themes for external communication purposes (e.g. corporate presentations, interviews, …);

    Executive Communications, including Executive speeches, media interviews, global and affiliate executive media programs

    Develop crisis/issue communications tool kits and manager crisis communications, while maintain and enhance media relationship to protect company reputation

  • Issue and crisis management

    Coordination of internal and external communication around issues and crises situations;

    Coordination and development of statements, key messages and Q&A’s;

  • Prepare and submit an annual communications operational budget, manage effectively within this budget, and report accurately on progress made and challenges encountered..

  • Provide general communications support to BUs and functions as needed

Basic Qualificiations:

Job Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Public Relations, Communications, Journalism, Marketing, and/or Advertising. An advanced degree preferred;

  • 5-8 years of experience in corporate/brand communications/ PR at a multinational company or an established PR agency. Familiarity and experience with healthcare/pharmaceuticals sectors preferred;

  • Experience in building communication strategies including digital and social media

  • Strong ability in preparation of communication material like press releases, press kits, marketing collateral etc.;

  • Experience in developing an organization-wide strategy for program excellence, engaging internal and external stakeholders;

  • Corporate social responsibility experience, ideally should have implemented CSR program;

  • Effective oral and written communication skills, including interpersonal and organizational, and demonstrated experience with presentation tools such as PowerPoint, Excel, etc.;

  • Demonstrated integrity and a good team player;

  • Highly self-motivated, possess a ‘can-do’ attitude with the willingness to expand knowledge and grow with the company.
