The IDS (Information and Digital Solutions) function’s core role and contribution to our company and our patients is “Powering Our Business”. The HR IDS team focuses on providing solutions to our HR business function to support their objective of “unleashing organizational and individual potential to make life better”. The Service Delivery role for LillyNow, sits within the global HR IDS team consisting of 13 members across 4 countries. LillyNow is a custom-built enterprise portal that is pivotal in serving all 35,000 employees with HR; policies and procedures, company news, information and updates. This role is responsible for ensuring IT functional services and projects are delivered with quality, on time, on budget and meet specified business outcomes for several HR business areas, focusing primarily on the LillyNow Intranet Portal. This position will report to the Associate Director, HR-IDS.

  • Manage the release and deployment strategy for enhancements, upgrades and proof of concepts for LillyNow.

  • Ensure supported business areas achieve and realize value from IT investments.

  • Manage system support, continuous improvement and automation opportunities.

  • Provide technical consultation and advice to business partners relating to future software/technology enhancements, technical advancements and future trends.

  • Direct accountability for ensuring Service Management and Solution Delivery milestones and metrics are met for projects in the functional or technology area.

  • Influence IT service providers’ products, services, and technologies used with the functional engagement.

  • Manage technical resources/contractors that support area system solutions, this could include offshore resources. This requires curiosity and exploring to understand the system, architecture and technologies to be able to problem solve and discuss with the service provider on next steps.

  • Manage the demand and capacity management process between the service provider and the functional or technology area. Coordinate preparation of work or change orders.

  • Partner with HR business partners to prioritize enhancements, service and support initiatives for the service provider.

  • Negotiate for and deploy resources to ensure projects are delivered on time and on budget, with appropriate quality.

  • Eliminate project barriers to ensure projects are delivered on time and on budget.

  • Ensure effective communications across business areas, IDS, and service providers.

  • Quality minded and adherence to policy procedures and apply appropriately.

  • Maintain adherence to solution specific plans and procedures for system administration / security.

  • Manage vendor relationships and adherence to deliverables, including support processes.

Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree

  • At least advanced technical experience in delivery of IT solutions

  • Proven success working with Cloud hosted applications (e.g. AWS, Heroku, postgres database)

  • Familiar working in an Agile environment - (Jira/VERA) methodology

  • Experience with enterprise network infrastructure, security, and FTP systems

  • Experience in development of requirements and translation into technical design

Additional Preferences

  • Experience with Microsoft O365 tools (PowerApps, Forms, Teams Integrations)

  • Experience working in a regulated, GxP environment
