LCCI IBU Customer Analytics

Main PURPOSE

In the Hub and Spokes Model of the Customer Analytics and Operations Organization, the Customer Analytics Team (CAT) plays a central role in the development of new analytics capabilities, best practices replications and standards generations. Its objective is, working together with the IBU commercial analytics lead, to improve productivity across the customer facing teams and develop further our data driven decision-making capabilities while building our data and analytic foundations to evolve our MCE capabilities at the core of our Next Generation Customer Engagement (NGCE). The scope of the team covers the eight IBU Hubs that form the Lilly International Business Units.

Key Responsibilities

Project Execution: as individual contributor, responsible

Data Management

  • Process data from varied data sources or central database using sql / oracle servers

  • Build expertise into Lilly data architecture to bring those data sources together and maximize their value

  • Support the automation of existing data processes & dashboards

Business Processes

  • Establish a good and trusted working relationship with the CAT analytic integrators and data management leads, as they will drive requirements from key stakeholders and bring new projects

  • Have the ownership for the creation of IBU standard reports (data gathering, data validation and support for data related questions from affiliates or regional staff)

  • IBU scorecards

  • Execution Excellence dashboards

  • SFE / MCE related dashboards

  • Performance reports

Technology and tools

  • Expert in writing SQL codes

  • Proficient at cleaning, preparation and joining of data (tool is KNIME)

  • Understanding of data architecture and data models

  • Expertise in visualization software and good visualization practice (tool is TABLEAU)

Project Delivery: as team member, supporting the team in driving

  • quality, speed, value and compliance throughout the analytics value chain

  • project management for seamless project execution, prioritization and high quality delivery

  • creation and maintenance of standard operating procedures (SOPs), quality checklists that will enable excellent quality outputs

Education Requirements

  • Degree in sciences or quantitative discipline i.e. Statistics, Mathematics, Finance, Engineering or Computer Sciences from Tier-I institute. MBA/post-graduation will be preferred

Experience related requirements

  • 5-8 years of strong analytics experience

  • Experience in working with business partners located in another country

  • Technical Skills

  • Must to have

  • Experience in writing code in SQL

  • Data cleaning and preparation skill (database querying, descriptive statistics, KNIME knowledge is an asset)

  • Experience with visualization software (TABLEAU)

  • Experience in business analytics Good to have

  • Understanding of key statistical concepts (regressions, modelling)

  • Experience in pharma industry is preferable

  • Experience in writing code in SQL

  • Data cleaning and preparation skill (database querying, descriptive statistics, KNIME knowledge is an asset)

  • Experience with visualization software (TABLEAU)

  • Experience in business analytics Good to have

  • Understanding of key statistical concepts (regressions, modelling)
