Position Responsibilities
Overall analytics execution accountability from planning through delivery and optimization:
The following areas are in scope and are subject to expansion as we mature and learn:
Personalization, Engagement Analytics, Customer Support, US collaboration with Welldoc, OUS technology and data partnerships, and Closed Loop/Pump support
Tempo Performance Reporting & Dashboards
Personalization
PwD Journey Analysis & Tracking
Requires knowledge of understanding of Google Analytics / Google Firebase
BGM / CGM, Insulin usage analytics
Exploration of data to seek insight tying back to behaviors and profile data (age, gender, location, demographic, socioeconomic data)
Support for US and OUS Markets (OUS will have special needs by affiliate)
Support for Pen Platform and Pump platform analytics
There may be crossover analytics associated here between the two platforms
Lead Overall Connected Care Analytics execution:
Partner closely with Connected Care Data Insights team to establish project priorities and track/report progress toward projects
Partner closely with Lilly IDS contributors and integration operations teams and ensure seamless execution
Establish capacity model and manage project timelines with LCCI team
Partner with Connected Care Data Insights team for problem identification and analytics formulation to address business questions and patient engagement needs; actively consult with the Connected Care Data Insights team on top needs
Oversee data management controls and own data activities; partner with leads for data onboarding, data loading and ingestion, data quality and cleansing, and featurization
Oversee development of new analytical capabilities and tools in coordination with business stakeholders and technical colleagues
People Management:
Develop team members through upskilling them on technology, processes, tools, and data assets
Identifies, recruits, and selects top talent; manages new-hire onboarding and ongoing training
Demonstrates ability to appropriately manage and/or escalate when issues arise

Conducts effective one-on-one coaching sessions using the Lilly coaching framework by encouraging two-way dialogue and open feedback, listening actively, being flexible, and identifying knowledge, skill and performance gaps.
Project Management:
Follows the established Connected Care Data Insights Operating Model and contributed towards optimizing that process
Ensures quality, speed, value and compliance throughout the analytics value chain
Establishes project management for seamless project execution, prioritization and high-quality delivery from the team
Supports creation and maintenance of standard operating procedures (SOPs), quality checklists that will enable excellent quality outputs for all outputs within the function
Facilitates shared learning forums to identify challenges and establish best practices across the team
Continues to expand the analytical capability of the team by taking on more complex projects and delivering value
Identifies improvement opportunities and implementation of analytical best practices
Project Execution: as individual contributor, responsible for:
Build and exhibit deep expertise on available data sets and supports data enabled decision making by leveraging available internal and external data sources
Ensure high stakeholder satisfaction through consistent delivery of high quality, timely and insightful outputs throughout analytics value chain on various objectives established in partnership with the Connected Care function
Developing into a trusted advisor by actively participating in various phases of the project including planning, development, execution, insight generation and data visualization and results presentation to various stakeholders
Participating in meetings with stakeholders and communicating the final outputs and recommendations
Basic Qualifications
Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Information Technology, Advanced Analytics and Data Science, Project Management, Business Administration, or other relevant degree area; Masters degree preferred in these disciplines
Previous experience leading teams of data engineering, data analysts, data scientists, and strategic partners (third-party organizations)
Experience driving analytics execution and bridging business context between business leads and analytics implementation teams
Strong knowledge and familiarity with pharmaceutical or MedTech Marketing, Medical, RWE, Safety and Regulatory functions
Strong knowledge of latest generation analytics tools and capabilities, Statistical methods, Experimentation, Machine Learning & AI
Experience with the following technologies: Cloud platforms like AWS & Azure, Tableau, Power BI, Python, R & SQL
