The purpose of the Lilly Research Laboratories (LRL) Learning and Development Account Manager role is to implement learning and performance solutions. This role ensures LRL personnel are qualified and capable of performing their job responsibilities, fulfilling compliance requirements, and continually increasing their contribution to the business.

Learning and Performance Support
Performance Consulting
Build relationships with functional leaders and business partners, leveraging organizational knowledge to support business results
Provide instructional design expertise, feedback, and guidance for content created by the business to ensure adherence to adult learning and instructional design principles
Anticipate and resolve complex problems
Serve as a key resource within a business area
Learning Solution Analysis, Design, and Development
Conduct needs and target audience analysis to identify learning and performance gaps
Develop innovative deliverables that provide meaningful and learner-centric solutions, as appropriate
Apply effective project management to ensure timely delivery of the performance solution
Effectively utilize technology to support development of learning and performance solutions (e.g., IT tools, video technology, etc.) and ensure they can be integrated with Lilly systems
Partner with Lilly select supplier and manage procurement activities, when needed
Manage budget for small- to medium-size projects or programs
Manage Transfer of Training to external partners, as appropriate
Implementation
Develop and lead plan to ensure timely implementation of learning solutions in cooperation with other L&D personnel and business partners
Evaluation
Develop appropriate evaluation plans for learning and performance solutions, when appropriate
Curriculum Management
Consult with business partners to establish and maintain a curriculum architecture
Lead efforts to ensure curriculum assignments support personnel qualification
Audits/Inspections
Support audit/inspection readiness
Support audit/inspection execution
Coaching and Personal Development
- Establish a network of internal and external learning and business professionals and benchmark as appropriate
Minimum Qualification Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree or higher in education, instructional design, performance technology, or related programs, or successful completion of the Professional Apprentice Program for LRL Learning and Development.
Demonstrated expertise in performance consulting, instructional design, and program/project management.
Other Information/Additional Preferences:
M.S. degree in Instructional Systems Technology, Adult Learning, or related experience/education
Human Performance Improvement (HPI) Certification
Working knowledge of and/or experience in a regulated environment
Knowledge of LRL business and structure
Demonstrated ability in communication, conflict resolution, using good judgment, and managing complexity
Demonstrated ability to effectively work in a collaborative environment and build trust with internal and external business partners
Demonstrated ability to scope and lead projects
Demonstrated success in influencing without authority
Effective problem-solving skills to evaluate and resolve business and organizational problems
Demonstrated ability to facilitate and lead training classes
