Position Brand Description:

The Coordinator/Sr, Manufacturing and Quality Learning & Development (MQ L&D) Programs Support-Branchburg is responsible for applying business support for the creation, revision, and implementation of learning items (courses) and documents to support learning initiatives related to Manufacturing and Quality (MQ) areas at the Branchburg, NJ site. This position may also support L&D projects, identified as fulfilling the learning capability and addressing competency gaps in the MQ areas, in partnership with other L&D team members and/or supervisor. The Coordinator/Sr. is also responsible to support training and learning projects. Additionally, the Coordinator/Sr. will support learning initiatives related to quality management, target audience identification, and instructor identification, as needed. The Coordinator/Sr. supports communication and awareness regarding MQ training programs and initiatives. The Coordinator/Sr. ensures the successful quality delivery of projects through the Lilly learning services supplier business process. This position will provide support to ensure personnel are qualified and capable, which includes the monitoring of personnel fulfilling compliance requirements. This position also includes the administration of Job Descriptions and other documents, implementing the New Hire / Onboarding Process, coordinating the Read & Understand Effectiveness projects, manage and centralize the Branchburg Metrics & Communications in addition to other MQ/L&D projects as assigned.

Key Objectives/Deliverables:

Manage for Results /Strategic Planning:

Revise and implement updated training and related documents (e.g., checklists, job aids, etc.), ensuring all documents are well written, usable/executable, and compliant with Corporate and Local policies and procedures. Ensure ongoing maintenance of personnel qualification requirements in MQ areas (learning plan management and periodic review). Collaborate/participate in projects as identified by supervisor. Support the execution of implementation plan(s), ensuring effective coordination with M&Q personnel. Benchmark within Lilly MQ as appropriate, seeking sharing and replication opportunities. Route documents such as Job Descriptions and Courses in the Document Management System. Execute LMS (Learning Management System) reports, as needed. Identify and surface opportunities for improvement for Lilly processes to supervisor. Troubleshoot curriculum and assignment issues in collaboration with L&D and Learning Data and Process personnel as needed. Support centrally-developed process improvements in local business area/function. Ensure internal instructor/facilitator qualification process is executed and maintained within the LMS.

Basic Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree

  • 4 years of experience with learning & development business processes and related systems OR experience supporting training activities.

  • Qualified candidates must be legally authorized to be employed in the United States. Lilly does not anticipate providing sponsorship for employment visa status (e.g., H-1B or TN status) for this employment position

Additional Preferences:

  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Excel.

  • Demonstrated ability to establish strong business relationships.

  • Demonstrated ability in communication and good judgement.

  • Responsible for maintaining a safe work environment and working safely.

  • Experience creating/revising training.

  • Experience working in a GXP-regulated environment.

  • Experience working in companion tools used to execute broader business processes (such as document repositories).

  • Demonstrated project management skills. Strong organizational skills.

Other Information:

  • 8-hour days - Monday – Friday, on site work required, with additional overtime required as needed.

  • This position is not permanent. It is for a fixed term position up to a maximum of 4 years.
