Lilly Warehouse Technician-FDE ($3,000 Sign-on Bonus) in Branchburg, New Jersey

The Warehouse Technician is responsible for initial receipt, storage, control and delivery of all materials received at the Lilly Branchburg warehouses. Develop working knowledge of SAP Warehouse Management is a must. Deliver raw materials and supplies with company vehicles (van, box truck) daily to other buildings, as needed. Act as a backup as needed in other warehouse areas based on business need and at discretion of Warehouse Supervisor.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Safe operation of electric pallet jacks, forklifts and company issued department vehicles.

  • Maintain inventory of all receiving and shipping supplies in SAP.

  • Assist in the preparation of domestic and international bulk drug and drug product shipments.

  • Perform all assigned tasks in compliance with cGMP and company procedures.

  • Strict adherence to all company safety policies including the use of PPE where required.

  • Maintain a clean and safe work area with emphasis on maintaining safe practices.

  • Maintain the warehouse in an inspection ready state at all times.

  • Receive, store and deliver all incoming items, including process gases.

  • Monitor SAP for all reservations of stock material and pick material to support manufacturing and laboratory operations.

  • Perform cycle counts on a weekly basis.

  • Serve as a back-up for multiple job positions.

  • Preparation of the cryoshipper for the shipment of cell lines, as directed by Supervisor.

  • Remove regulated medical waste and hazardous waste from laboratories.

  • Provide company wide support on all inventory concerns.

  • Respond to departmental emergencies during off-hours.

BASIC REQUIREMENTS

  • High School Diploma/GED

  • 3- 5 years of prior warehouse experience in a cGMP environment

  • Valid Driver's License and acceptable driving record is required.

ADDITIONAL SKILLS/PREFERENCES:

  • Forklift and/or powered pallet jack certification

  • SAP knowledge

  • Microsoft Office computer skills

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:

  • Associates Degree in Science preferred

  • High School Diploma required

  • Position is Monday through Friday - 8:30 am to 5:00pm

  • Some overtime is required

  • This position is not permanent. It is for a fixed duration of two years with potential to extend annually for up to 4 years. and includes a competitive benefit package.
