Purpose of the job

Support the Brand Team to achieve its sales, marketing and medical objectives with scientific expertise in the assigned therapeutic areas.

Key Responsibilities - NTA

  • Member of the Oncology sales team reporting to Autoimmune/ Oncology District Manager

  • Is a knowledgeable medical professional (preferably a medical doctor) who is able to give valuable scientific and professional advice to customers (seen as a partner)

  • Covers selected customers on full territory of Hungary – the target list is prepared in co-operation with medical representatives, under the supervision of District Manager aligned with Brand Team strategy

  • Co-operates closely with medical representatives and supports the Oncology sales team to achieve its business objectives with updated medical and scientific expertise in the therapeutic area

  • Proactively visits HCPs to discuss matters requiring more in-depth scientific knowledge (clinical data, relevant medical literature, using approved promotional materials only)

  • Prepares and delivers lectures to physicians avoiding off-label information

  • Presents at Lilly promotional meetings (medical representative owned groups scientific meetings - GS, Lilly stand-alone promotional meetings)

  • Participates at sales activities as congresses, symposia, sales meetings, local seminars etc.

  • Preparing and delivering product knowledge- and therapeutic area-related training for the sales force workshops, role-plays

  • Continuous training to gain up-to-date information about therapeutical area

Key Responsibilities – Account Specialist

  • Achieve sales goals

  • Promotion of the company's product(s) to the healthcare professionals visited

  • Sales implementation of the specific activities and programs of the marketing plan

  • Identifying customers who can diagnose and treat patients who meet the indication of the specific Lilly drug (targeting)

  • Designing the framework of the selling process tailored to the individual area and achieving the set goals (SPP)

  • Analysis of regional sales data, preparation of other area-specific analyzes and development of action plans

  • Work planning (daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, semi-annually) and documented with the required frequency

  • Management of the sales budget defined for the individual, in compliance with the set limits

  • Liaison with other functional units (marketing, finance, compliance, market research, medical department, etc.)


Education, training and/or experience


  • University degree in Medicine

  • Job experience in the pharmaceutical business
