We are looking for a highly motivated and innovative candidate for the role of Associate Scientist, Analytical Development. The expectation is that the scientist will have experience independently carrying out analytical experiments using HPLC/UPLC techniques. You should also exhibit a strong sense of curiosity to enable building up of a robust analytical pipeline with novel bio-analytical assays.
Do you have the skills for innovative approaches focused on identifying impactful therapies for the patient? If you have experience with varying liquid chromatography modes (RP, RP-IP, AEX, SEC, etc), LC-MS, or capillary gel electrophoresis we want you on our team!
Develop and complete quantitative chromatography-based assays for detection of RNA and (lipid-based) delivery systems for RNA
Assist in development of novel bio-analytical tools for lipid-based delivery systems for RNA
Collaborate with and mentor new team members to existing assays and procedures
Maintain well-documented notebooks and present findings to team
Author internal technical documents and enable tech transfer to other teams
- B.S. and/or M.S. in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Biology, Biochemistry, Molecular Biology or other relevant scientific field; laboratory research experience preferred
Experience in HPLC method development
Familiarity with cryoEM, SAXS, SANS
Strong understanding of RNA delivery systems
A strong teammate with excellent oral and written communication skills and a demonstrated ability to work independently as well as within a team.
