The Eli Lilly and Company Global Business Solutions (GBS) Center at Cork was established in July 2010 to provide financial shared services such as Order to Cash, Purchase to Pay, and General Accounting and Global Travel and Meeting services. Since then, the scope of GBS Cork has expanded outside of Finance and into other Business Service functions, Customer Meeting Services, Global HR Data Management, Information and Digital Solutions (IDS), and Medical Information and Clinical Trials support services.
Lilly enjoys a strong reputation for quality and focus on employee development. We make it our mission to attract the best and we always look at alternative ways to provide opportunities for our people to excel, grow and build a meaningful career.
The GBS Center at Cork is building a team aligned with Lilly’s Medicines Development Information and Digital Solutions (MD IDS) organisation. MD IDS is passionate about creating best-in-class, first-in-class medicines in the digital era. We strive to build strategic value through collaborative and creative delivery of strategic tech capabilities – Automation, Insights, and Experiences – that power the Lilly pipeline. MD IDS has four strategic enablers for value in the 2022-2025 time horizon (1) Decentralised Trials (2) End-to-End Automation (3) Development Intelligence and (4) Emerging Digital Medicine (EDM). For MD IDS to drive forward many of these strategic enablers, our clinical trials must become more connected than ever before.
EDM will set in motion a new season of transformation and commit to change that help us differentiate our portfolio. As the role of technology evolves to now include investigational software and novel measurement tools, we need to strengthen our resolve, see our strategies through, and help others across Lilly find encouragement for the voyage ahead. This will help Lilly unlock the scientific value of connected clinical and its role in advancing drug development.
