Lilly Associate / Senior Associate - Procurement Process Analysis in Cork, Ireland

The successful candidate will support the design and implementation of a Global Procurement Compliance model to achieve adherence to ‘best in class’ procurement practices and policies.


  • Support a data driven design of the Procurement compliance operating model and practices

  • Responsible for implementing the Procurement compliance strategy for Global Procurement

  • Work closely with Procurement Capabilities team and Global Process Owner in conducting research and benchmarking to inform the Procurement Compliance Operating Model design and implementation

  • Establish and implement best in class Procurement policies and procedures, to achieve overall company objectives and compliance with any regulatory and internal policies

  • Monitor and review as necessary compliance and conformance procedures, advising amendments where appropriate

  • Analyse complex datasets to draw key insights, and translate these into strategic recommendations

  • Maintain and monitor Lilly’s external supplier portal

  • Exhibit strong commercial acumen, and the ability to identify drivers of non-compliance, process inefficiency, cost drivers and provide recommendations for improvements


  • English fluency and ability to negotiate in English

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics or Accounting preferred

Minimum Experience

  • 3 years of relevant commercial finance/ business analyst experience preferred

  • Familiarity with procurement/finance/business data analysis preferred

  • Expertise in audit practices/process improvement/ performance management compliance preferred

Job Specific Skills

  • Strong data analytic and modelling skills (e.g., Excel, Tableau, Power BI)

  • Support and drive process improvement, including the effective use of technology

  • Able to synthesize information from diverse data sources and present findings clearly and concisely

  • Able to draw insights from data sets and translate these to strategic recommendations

  • Strong communication and influence skills (written and verbal)

  • Possesses strong business acumen (understanding how our industry operates, our value chain, our customers, industry dynamics etc.)

  • Strong interpersonal and collaborative working style

  • Able to manage and prioritize competing requests with minimal supervision

Additional Skills/Preferences

Reporting to Procurement Center of Excellence Senior Manager, the Procurement Analytics & Compliance Analyst will support overall procurement strategy and enable the procurement team through data analytics, metrics, and reporting.
