Job Description

This role is part of the Souring Centre of Excellence (COE) team. The initial focus of the role is dedicated to helping the Sourcing COE advance its Data Strategy in the areas of Artificial Intelligence (AI) & Machine Learning (ML) along with consulting on the S/4 Hana implementation project to aid Procurement advance its data and analytics capability.

This role will be responsible for managing the strategic metrics & technology platforms and reporting for Lilly’s Global Procurement Organization. The analyst will also design and develop the next generation of procurement reports and analytics. The analyst will bring innovative ideas to improve and implement optimal solutions. Perform simple to complex analysis of data using variables and apply other techniques to achieve sustainability.

Metrics & reporting includes:

  • Strategic dashboards

  • Spend and savings analysis

  • Financial due diligence

  • Supplier diversity

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and Develop Management reports using SAP Hana database & SAP business objects

  • Data visualization and dashboard creation using tools like Tableau and Power BI

  • Responsible for developing and managing the Procurement dashboards including Spend, Savings tracker, Supplier Diversity reporting etc.

  • Partner with data governance team to improve data quality and close spend gaps

  • Classification of data and consolidation with complete end to end view

  • Support the category teams with data and analytics requirements

  • Perform data cleaning activities while the analysis/report is being prepared

  • Analyze required data sources and the health of data as it pertains to a reporting solution

  • Assist in mapping the requirement into SAP processes, design and document the solution

  • Assist the testing of new releases, upgrades or patches of SAP HANA Database

  • Manage the SHAREPOINT Website for Global Procurement

  • Manage & Develop all the Apps (Power App, Power Automate, backend system) used by Global Procurement Colleagues

  • Onboard and train new procurement associates on the Spend Analytics Reporting Solution

  • Develop adhoc analytic solution using reporting tools like excel, Power Bi, Tableau

  • Maintain Standard operating Procedures (SOP’s)

  • Willing to learn new technologies as per the new requirements

Functional Requirements:

Technical Skills (Must Have)

Power BI, Power Automate, Project Management, Advanced MS Excel (lookups, Pivot, if else statements), Business Objects

Technical Skills (Good To have)

SAP, Blueprinting and Testing (Preferably SAP),VBA, SQL Server, Power App.

Language - English (required)

Experience - 3 – 5 Years (Healthcare or Pharma Preferred)

Education -Bachelor’s in engineering, Finance or IT
