Lilly International corporate MBA overview - Internship

International markets represent significant growth opportunities for the pharmaceutical industry and for Lilly. One key element of our strategy is to grow our international business and as a result, we need talented individuals from highly ranked business schools to be part of our leadership team.

Lilly is seeking intern candidates who are committed to an full-time internship position based in their country of origin which provides the foundational platform to learn the industry and understand our customers (patients, payers, and providers). MBAs will leverage and develop their leadership skills in their home affiliate as part of a global culture dedicated to employee development.

Requirements:

  • Enrolled in an MBA program

  • Graduate by August 2022

  • Authorized to work for one of the affiliates listed: Austria, Australia, Brazil, Bulgaria, China, Czech Republic, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Hungary, India, Ireland, Italy, Japan, Lebanon, Mexico, Norway, Pakistan, Poland, Romania, Russia, Saudi Arabia, Slovenia, South Korea, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Taiwan, Turkey, United Kingdom and United Arab Emirates.

  • Please submit Cover Letter, at the top of the Cover Letter clearly indicating which country/affiliate office you are applying for. Please also confirm that you are authorized to work in that country/affiliate in the Cover Letter.

Desired Experience:

The functional area of entry is typically marketing, with likely an initial rotation in sales

  • Demonstrated leadership

  • Previous pharmaceutical or healthcare experience is a plus

  • Commercialization experience

  • Strong problem solving skills

  • Teamwork and collaboration abilities

  • Flexibility and adaptability

  • Strong learning agility

  • Language fluency for country of work authorization

  • Language fluency in English (both written and verbal)

Additional Benefits:

  • All interns will receive a competitive salary and will be considered for full-time positions based on their internship performance

  • Indianapolis-based internship only

  • Lilly arranges various intern activities including sporting events, dinners, lunch and learns, etc. to provide opportunities for socializing, professional development, and learning more about Lilly.

  • Interns will receive free parking at their work site, as well as access to Lilly’s LIFE fitness center and bike garage

  • If the intern's job position requires a move from another location, Lilly will provide subsidized housing
