Responsibilities:

Perform order processing functions such as picking, packing and shipping pharmaceutical orders to sales reps, wholesalers, retailers and international affiliates/customers.

Key Objectives/Deliverables

  • Responsible for safety within area of responsibility, including assisting with incident investigations, implementation of safety initiatives and action items and safety compliance to local procedures. Support and engage in safety culture and safety of others.

  • Responsible for reporting any potential injury to supervisor immediately.

  • Communicate to and work with athletic trainer for musculoskeletal issues.

  • Receive and put away manufactured product. This includes unloading trucks, verifying quantities received, entering receipt into warehouse management system, printing and applying pallet license plates, and storing material using radio frequency (RF) device.

  • Pick and pack customer orders. This includes interaction with warehouse management system via a handheld RF device. Material is picked by using RF device to scan product license plate. Validated packing requirements must be followed precisely. When pick/pack function is complete, order is weight checked to verify accuracy. Orders are consolidated by license plate to ship units. Packing list and ship label are printed and included with shipment.

  • Responsible for complying with FDA and OSHA requirements.

  • Responsible for accurately following corporate and departmental SOPs and OJTs related to role.

  • Responsible for ensuring that all training identified in his/her individual training plan (ITP) is current and complete.

  • Understand and follow laws, regulations, RedBook, SOPs, NALO Operational Guidelines and Operational Qualifications related to operator role.

  • Constantly look for improvements in safety, compliance, data accuracy and productivity.

  • Support environmental program by completing monthly and weekly EPA hazardous material generator quantity checks and container inspections, as required by assigned training.

  • Understand and follow requirements as pertaining to Hazardous Communication, Hazardous Transportation and Hazardous Waste, as required by assigned training.

  • Responsible for ensuring data integrity and good documentation practices while performing job tasks.

  • Work overtime daily as needed until work is complete and released by supervisors.

  • Speak live with a supervisor or manager when late or calling in for any reason one hour prior to scheduled shift start.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Must have a high school degree or equivalent.

Additional Skills/Preferences:

  • Demonstrated accuracy and attention to details.

  • Must be flexible and willing to be cross trained to perform multiple assignments.

  • Must be reliable and have a good work attendance history.

  • Demonstrated computer skills.

  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team environment.

  • Demonstrated a high productivity rate in previous assignments.

  • Self-starter requiring minimal supervision.

  • Experience operating pallet jacks and powered industrial trucks would be a plus.

  • Must be willing to work a portion of the workday in a chilled environment (36-46F).

  • Standing, lifting (up to 40 lbs) and bending are required.

Additional Information:

  • Warehouse experience a plus.

  • Additional Information Work Shift: 7:30AM – 4:15PM Mon – Fri OR 6:30AM – 5:15PM Mon – Thurs

  • This is for a fixed term position up to a maximum of 4 years however; for a desired applicant, that may be subject to change.

Base Pay Information:

Lilly currently anticipates that the base salary for this position could range from between $31,500 to $65,000 and will depend, in part, on the successful candidate’s qualifications for the role, including education and experience. This position also will be eligible for a company bonus(depending, in part, on company and individual performance). In addition, Lilly offers a comprehensive benefit program to eligible employees, including eligibility to participate in a company-sponsored retirement plan and 401(k); vacation benefits; eligibility for medical, dental, vision and prescription drug benefits; flexible benefits (e.g., healthcare and/or dependent daycare flexible spending accounts); life insurance and death benefits; certain time off and leave of absence benefits; and well-being benefits (e.g., employee assistance program, fitness benefits, and employee clubs and activities).Of course, the compensation described above is subject to change and could be higher or lower than the range described above.
