Lilly Analyst/Sr. Analyst - Micro Automation in Global Business Solutions - Cork, Ireland

The Automation team are responsible for finding, assessing, and developing automation solutions within Lilly’s business service towers, and consulting with teams on the most effective approach to leveraging technology to automate and enhance their processes and procedures. Solutions can range from RPA to cognitive intelligence or data analytics.

The Micro-automation Analyst/Sr. Analyst role is responsible for working on projects and ideas coming to us through our Engagement team and provide creative and sustainable solutions to our business partners. The role will be working collaboratively with the Manager – Micro Automation and our business partner to progress the automation pipeline while enhancing the way in which each business tower operates.

The role will require the ability to communicate with key stakeholders at all levels and from a mixture of technical and non-technical backgrounds.

The individual will be a proactive and driven self-starter and will play a key role in training business partner team on new technology capabilities.

The person will be responsible for gathering and analysing data and using various types of tools to create efficiencies in the process leading to high quality systems.

The individual will also contribute to train fellow GCOA team members and business partners on the tools to make them self-sufficient in driving future value.

Responsibilities

  • Advise on the most optimal technology or software for an automation solution

  • Ensure compliance to our quality and documentation standards to ensure solutions delivered are well documented, tested and can be sustainable into the future

  • Problem-solve issues that arise in day-to-day running of processes and provide timely responses and solutions as required

  • Support the entire GCOA team in training and knowledge sharing on micro-automation capabilities

  • Communicate and identify any potential risks and issues and provide actionable inputs to mitigate

Experience

  • 2-4 years of Micro-Automation experience in either a finance, supply chain, technology consulting or a business analyst type role

  • A strong grasp of technologies such as VBA, Office 365 technology stack e.g., Power App, Power Automate, Power Query and Power BI etc.

  • The ability to diagnose business problems and clearly articulate how technology can be the solution

Education

  • Degree in sciences or quantitative discipline i.e., Statistics, Mathematics, Finance, Engineering or Computer Sciences from Tier-I institute. MBA/post-graduation will be preferred
