  • Serve as development leader for designated R&D projects: Effective collaboration with research & external innovation, vaccine science and technology (technical development), clinical operation and global regulatory partners to execute assigned R&D project(s).

  • Set clear goals and objectives for project team(s) and hold self and others accountable.

  • Lead on-time delivery of technical development and clinical development milestones assigned to Vaccine Science & Technology, clinical operation, regulatory partners and external partners.

  • Lead preparation of project stage gate promotions.

  • Contribute in preparation of clinical study reports as co-author or author and review.

  • Contribute in the preparation of regulatory submissions.

  • Influence and motivate project team members to push for the “slightly impossible”.

Additional Skills/Preferences:

  • PhD and or DVM with >10 years of experience leading multi-disciplinary international companion animal vaccine development project teams in the veterinary industry.

  • Significant experience in global companion animal vaccine product development.

  • Practical understanding of GLP and GCP regulations as they apply to companion animal vaccine product development study design and regulatory compliance.

  • Expert level understanding of USDA and EU regulations relating to development of all aspects of companion animal vaccines.

  • Proven ability to collaborate effectively across functions and provide leadership through influence.
