Lilly Assoc Cnslt-Social Media Analyst in Greenfield, Indiana
The purpose of this position is to monitor, analyze and report on the social media food animal production and companion animal conversations. This position will work in cooperation with other social media analysts/experts to provide trend/influencer analysis, recommendations on engagement strategies and benchmark/track shifts in the social conversation. The position resides within the Elanco Pulse Institute using NetBase as the primary social listening tool.
Analyze the global social media conversations across the food animal production and companion animal (pet) sectors. Specific food conversations include poultry, beef, pork, dairy and aquaculture as well as key issues and trending topics/issues.
Provide social/digital monitoring, analysis, reports and recommendations to support the Elanco global issues, crisis teams, and corporate communication including the corporate community manager as well as targeted businesses and customers.
Serve as a subject matter expert on animal health and productivity topics and related issues within the overall food sector. Leverage expertise with monthly analysis, reports and select customer interaction.
Develop and refine data visualization, reports, dashboards and scorecards to support clear, interesting and impactful means to demonstrate social/digital insights, tracking and monitoring.
Foster and maintain relationships with internal business teams, key external customers and/or influencers and multiple agencies.
Strong social analytical skills and proficiency with standard APIs (application programming interface and common social/digital platforms)
Understanding of digital/social marketing as well as a personal knowledge/interest in online and social media including experience with content management systems
Solid communication/writing ability for presentations, reports and engagement with internal business partners/stakeholders and external audiences including customers
Strong team working and collaboration skills as well as self-motivation, accountability and project management
Background in agriculture or pet industry is preferred

Social Media Analyst
Bachelor’s degree in communications, social media, information technology or related field
3 years of advertising, marketing, new media, or communications experience, with at least 3 years of social media analysis
