Responsibilities:

The Information Security mission is to protect the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of information and assets, such that Elanco is able to deliver on the brand promise to our stakeholders and customers. We will follow a risk-based approach, aligned with business objectives, to address risks that may impact Elanco’s ability to operate in a secure manner. The Information Security Analyst is tasked with supporting Elanco Information Security initiatives.

The Information Security Project Analyst is responsible to ensure the rollout/ adoption of an enterprise-wide risk-based information security program. The role will involve coordination with Elanco Business, Information Technology and other Information Security teams to provide support for the overall IS Program in Elanco. This role will report into the Elanco Information Security Organization.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Support the Elanco IS program with key deliverables for the IS team, IT team, and the broader Elanco workforce

  • Provide consultative security guidance to a broad range of business and technical stakeholders and partners

  • Partner with others in the deployment of security technologies/initiatives

  • Maintain awareness of industry trends in IS

  • Assist in the rollout of the IS organization in the new Elanco

Basic Qualificiations:

  • Bachelor’s Degree

  • Recent Information Security work experience

  • Qualified candidates must be legally authorized to be employed in the United States. Lilly/Elanco does not anticipate providing sponsorship for employment visa status (e.g., H-1B or TN status) for this employment position.

Additional Skills/Preferences:

  • Previous work designing or deploying information security solutions/programs

  • Demonstrated ability to effectively share knowledge

  • Strong communication, writing and presentation skills

  • Demonstrated excellent strategic thinking and learning agility

  • History of information security, information technology architecture knowledge and experiences

  • Demonstrated ability to establish cross-functional relationships to drive innovation and productivity

  • Business Acumen: proven ability to probe further to understand and solve issues that may not be obvious

  • Experience in working in Elanco or other similar settings
