The Business Unit IT Global Shared Services organization is accountable for crafting, developing and supporting commercial or customer engagement services and capabilities that span multiple Business Units, functions, geographies and digital channels. The areas supported by the Business Unit IT Global Shared Services includes: Global Customer Operations, Global Medical Affairs, Global PRA, Global Market Research, Global Patient Outcomes & Real World Evidence, Next Generation Customer Engagement (NGCE), Enterprise HealthCare Provider Engagement as well as the regional Marketing Operations, Commercial Operations, Multichannel Customer Engagement Hubs and PRA organizations.
As a Cloud Developer, you will primarily be accountable for the development of the standards, procedures, and systems required in delivering our mass e-mail communication via the Salesforce Marketing Cloud platform and related systems pertaining to NGCE, as well as exploring other proof of value platforms in the global digital marketing operations space that will enable IT and Marketing to continue to drive efficiencies and new capabilities. You will have the opportunity to provide digital marketers the ability to monitor and improve the effectiveness of their campaigns across platforms, while continuing to drive our marketing cloud and consent management programs. This role will additionally explore the enablement of new capabilities within our existing platforms and the operationalization of those capabilities.
In this role, you will have the following responsibilities:
Continuously improving the capabilities and services provided by the Global Digital Marketing Ops team and Salesforce Marketing Cloud platform
Act as the Technical Subject Matter Expert for our digital marketing capabilities, specifically focusing on the adoption and rollout of Salesforce Marketing Cloud and its modules
Understand business requirements and effectively translate business needs and process into technical terms, and vice versa
Provide digital marketers with the tools to monitor and improve the effectiveness of their communication strategies and content
Own the definition and gathering of requirements and proposes changes to existing services and capabilities
Provide business subject matter expertise to technical resources
Provide technical oversight and supplier management for third party support suppliers
Partner closely with global and regional business partners to capture, collaborate and innovate on prioritized requirements to the global framework, tools and services
Act as an Execution Lead to drive new capabilities and improvements within the platform
Provide global oversight where necessary
This position reports to the Manager IT – Global Digital Marketing within the Business Unit IT Global Shares Services organization.
Strong technical background in the digital marketing applications space

Global project implementation experience
Knowledge and/or understanding of solution delivery methodologies like Waterfall, Agile Scrum, Agile Feature-Driven Development.
Ability to analyze technical work and align it to appropriate development methodologies
Good organizational skills and the ability to work across multiple teams and geographies
Knowledge and expertise of Sales & Marketing technologies
Experience with working with Software as a Service platforms and vendors
