Lilly Analyst-IT in Indianapolis, Indiana
As the Service Delivery Lead, you will be focused on the full lifecycle of Human Resources applications from requirements gathering to software development, including deployment and support.
In this role, you will ensure IT functional services, operations and projects are delivered with quality, on time and on budget to meet life cycle management and/or specified business outcomes supporting Human Resources area. You will work with the Human Resources IT Manager and may include the following responsibilities:
Service management (includes metrics/performance/vendor performance review)
Problem management processes/follow-ups with vendors
Release/Lifecycle management planning/coordination/execution – more of a need in Zone 2 and outside of SAP
Quality items – CAPA / collaborate with executing vendors
Coordinate assessments (i.e. Information Security related items, other architectural road map assessments/data gathering)
Potentially own and maintain a dashboard of small projects/incremental changes for management monitoring/review/reporting
System Custodian of OUS applications (this triggers the following activities):
Owner of related CAPA actions (ARR, Periodic Review, Validation documentation review, BCP testing...), owner of related KAs, related security groups etc...
POC/owner for related enhancements (in partnership with BPA), incidents management, service and change requests management, service level analysis, LCM.
POC for affiliates for the above activities
Custodian of app dedicated servers
Primary point of contact for IT support for relevant apps including interaction with vendors and global teams
IT POC for internal/external audits
New business cases/projects involvement:
POC for requesting affiliates/functions
Help preparation of cost-benefit and return-on-investment analysis to aid in decision
Computer System Validation for global and local systems
BI for the whole project once approved (lead the development, integration, test and deployment)
Evaluate user requests, and use technical and process knowledge to resolve underlying true business needs
Work on project teams, be dedicated in partnering with key business SMEs and focusing their engagement on tasks critical to their knowledge
Understands business requirements and effectively translates business needs and process into technical terms, and vice versa, facilitate business requirements specifications gathering, according to standard templates.
To be successful in this role, you will need the ability to work & support business partners, management, peers located in both US and OUS to achieve results
Demonstrated ability to develop requirements and translate into technical design, consistently and significantly influence peers and leadership, and triage issues and advance appropriately

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field.
