Lilly Assoc Brand Mgr-US Growth Mktn/Enroll in Indianapolis, Indiana



Lilly is preparing to launch connected insulin pens and pumps to improve outcomes for those living with diabetes. Our Connected Care (CC) systems will integrate insulin-dosing data with daily blood glucose monitoring or continuous glucose monitoring data. In addition, our connected care devices will allow us to have a daily relationship with consumers, HCPs, and payers. This relationship will enable us to improve patient behaviors & outcomes.

The Senior Manager of Patient Enrollment will lead new patient acquisition and onboarding onto the Connected Care platform. The position will own the patient acquisition and onboarding journey, build awareness of Connected Care through key consumer marketing channels, and drive conversion across the patient funnel. The position will work closely with Product Marketing, Services and other internal functions to enable the desired patient experience

Patient Acquisition Strategy and Planning

  • Build compelling patient campaign strategy that creates awareness of and articulates the value proposition of Connected Care to target patient population

  • Develop messages around meaningful use cases and personas to inspire and motivate patients to adopt the product

  • Drive patient / user acquisition and enrollment by developing, implementing and managing campaigns across a variety of channels (including digital) and partners (agency, marketing operations)

  • Apply agile marketing methods to campaign deployment by experimentation, iteration and validation before scale-up

  • Identify patient needs and serve as a voice of the end-user to inform product, service and experience improvement and development

Asset & Content Development

  • Produce and manage development / review of localized promotional and educational content and collateral that bring campaigns to life using a variety of tactics (ex. videos, landing pages, ad copy etc.)

  • Perform patient research and analytics working with Product and Tech Ops to glean insights on digital patient journey to identify new growth opportunities

  • Convert IFUs and other patient onboarding materials into patient friendly content optimized for each channel

  • Manage regulatory and other internal business reviews of patient facing collateral

Digital Marketing Execution

  • Optimize conversion across patient funnel and promotional mix through channel performance measurement and experimentation (including A/B testing, event / campaign analytics, and identifying opportunities for automation)

  • Utilize self-service and custom marketing CRM and analytics tools / platforms to gather insights and drive continuous improvements

Additional Skills/Preferences:

  • Experience developing and owning detailed multi-channel strategies and execution plans

  • Strong analytical skills and familiarity with digital data, A/B testing, etc.

  • Industry: Experience in healthcare, particularly with MedTech and/or diabetes management

  • Product: Strong preference for individuals with experience in consumer tech, health tech and/or planning for and executing launches of complex, connected Medtech systems; experience with HIPPA

  • Team / Role: Prior experience working cross-functionally (with Sales, Marketing, Engineering, etc.), owning complex / multi-channel strategies and translating strategy into detailed execution plans, working closely with customers and across a variety of data sets

  • Culture: Ability to understand, lead and execute across cross-functional needs and priorities, comfortably make decisions in ambiguous situations, not being limited by how things are “usually done”

  • Working Style: Results-driven, bias to action, detail-oriented, ability to think creatively

  • Preferred experience focused on customer retention and usage

  • 20-50% travel may be required
