Understanding our consumers and the journeys they travel on has always been at the heart of marketing at Lilly. We know that the consumer usage of Social Media platforms is increasing and therefore Lilly is currently establishing a capability to leverage Social Media as a way to engage customers. In order to this effectively, we have to start by listening to what our customers are saying in this space. Our Digital Intelligence Lab center is focused on listening and engaging with customers in social media. We are looking for someone to monitor conversations and engage with our patients and consumers. This role will also work with other areas in the company to directly engage with customers in social media. Now is an exciting time to work at Lilly on Social Media to develop this new branded capability, which will require a candidate with leadership and the ability to thrive in unchartered territories.
Community Management Strategy – 30%
Interpret the direction of strategy/planning and creative leads.
Communicate and coordinate client service, production and strategy/planning brands ensuring the community strategy supports overall brand goals and objectives
Build relationships with online influences in order to increase exposure for brands.
Develops and discover insight from the community to drive issue resolution and user engagement
Improve overall sentiment and drive positive engagement
Ensure all communications are compliant and own the engagement process and flow
Responsible for the pilot and launch of new brands social media engagement experience and monthly report outs
Escalate user generated content to internal and client stakeholders
Community Management & Moderation – 60%
Create and maintain content calendars Responsible for actively engaging and answering questions by postings on social media platforms to communicate with social communities in order to ensure online reputation
Respond to comments in order to foster a positive community and add value to the patient experience
Day-to-day monitoring of social media branded and unbranded accounts and proactively create positive experiences
Timely responsiveness to social activity
Manage the relationship and monthly reports with TLAC
Contribute to team social listening insights and conversations to create actionable, client facing reports to lead to optimization
Leadership – 10%
- Participate constructively in inter-department and cross-service line communications
Experience leading day-to-day operations of Social Media platforms
Experience using social media analytics tools (Social Studio, Netbase, etc.)
Demonstrated ability to work in a dynamic, rapidly changing environment
Strong attention to detail and problem solving skills
Ability to respect and work effectively with diverse people
Knowledge of online marketing and social media channels
Strong project management skills
