Lilly Assoc-Global Marketing-Trulicity in Indianapolis, Indiana
The Global Marketing Associate for Trulicity will be responsible for coordinating with affiliate teams to consolidate best practices and learnings from around the world to help teams maximize the Trulicity brand. Additionally this team member will work closely with the Global Marketing Director and Medical Leader in the development of the direct to physician (DTP) strategy and marketing materials to support affiliate digital and live Peer-to-Peer (P2P) programs and Congress promotional activities to engage Endocrinologists and Primary Care Physicians. This member will also partner with Medical and Marketing to help plan and prepare for Thought Leader Advisory Board Meetings and Working Groups to support both the Trulicity in-market indications and future lifecycle.
Contribute to a winning culture around the global launch of Trulicity for affiliates working closely with specific affiliate team members to identify opportunities for sharing best practices to address customer and market needs (e.g. New Competitors, Getting Patients Off to a Good Start, Engaging H1b Physicians, etc…)
Partner with Global Marketing, cross-functional team members, and agency partners to develop the DTP P2P and Digital education tools to support the Global Trulicity brand
Partner with the Lilly Centralized Congress Team in the planning and execution of National and International Trulicity Booths and meetings.
Partner with Global Marketing and cros-functional team members in the planning and preparation of the Global Advisory Board and lifecycle-related Working Groups (e.g. CV Advisory Board team).
Partner with brand teams to develop a data driven insights based analysis of key success factors that drive the Trulicity business.
To be the internal advocate and voice of your customers’ needs
Work cross-functionally with medical, regulatory, legal, and PRA, for input, buy-in and delivery of DTP strategy and messaging to communicate the Trulicity data (AWARD Program)
Understand market landscapes, competitive development efforts, and value needs of patients, physicians, and payers in this therapeutic space.
It is important to note that while the individual will be responsible for the items above, he or she also will contribute significantly other key elements of the brand such as global commercialization brand plan, device and patient experience and where appropriate affiliate launch readiness in this team-oriented environment.
Consistent demonstration of the performance management leadership behaviors relevant to an associate position.
Excellent oral and written communication skills; able to communicate clearly and succinctly with team
Prior Marketing or Sales experience in diabetes
Strong problem solving skills
Demonstrated strong ability to work across functions and manage through ambiguity
Passion for the diabetes therapeutic area
Agency management experience
Prior DTP/P2P experience
Prior Global Marketing experience
Prior thought leader management experience
Experience with agencies / external partner vendors
Position requires approximately 20% international and domestic travel
Occasional evening conference calls will be necessary in order to engage with affiliates
