The Global Services IT organization is responsible for providing solutions for SAP and SAP-integrated systems, enabling supply chain management, human resources, and financial business processes. In the SAP Analyst role, you will have the opportunity to develop innovative technical solutions to meet dynamic business needs as well as collaborate with our business partners, influence the processes, tools and operating models to support our global operations. You will ensure that these services are provided on time, on budget, and in a quality and compliant manner in order to meet required business outcomes. Your work will focus on our global Purchase to Pay operations.

  • Understand and deliver SAP / ABAP solutions, modify reports, interfaces, and work to deliver complete solutions to our global business partners.

  • Ability to debug and analyze code to figure out where changes should be made or repaired as well as update appropriate technical documentation

  • Be forward thinking with respect to using various SAP technologies which will help improve the user experience.

  • Familiarity with SAP Notes and upgrade activities (SPAU / SPDD) as well as technical standards and standard methodologies

  • Ability to communicate technical issues, capabilities, limitations in layman terms to non-technical persons

  • Be an advocate for SAP at global, regional and local level to communicate standards and expectations.

  • Lead and participate in day to day operations, improvements and projects. This includes understanding business impact, quantifying resources, and evaluating/recommending technical options.

  • Interact and collaborate with global, regional and local Business Partners as appropriate, in order to better understand the business and its priorities, and represent their requirements within SAP

  • Partner with the business in assessing and defining requirements and drive the development of business cases and system solutions.

  • Identify and ensure delivery of knowledge transfer needs between IT and our business partners

  • Promote process improvements and innovation to drive business process optimization

  • Influence partner organizations to handle and prioritize incidents, system changes and projects.

  • Partner with third party providers to accomplish delivery of day to day operations, improvements and projects. This includes: service level management, resource evaluations, escalations of system issues and oversight of the change management processes.

Additional Information:

  • Full time day shift position. You will have occasional off hours and weekend work, as this position serves a global organization

  • You will be required to do some regional and international travel to meet with business partners and develop key working relationships as part of a global function

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelors Degree

  • 2+ years development, configuration, or support experience in SAP

  • SAP Finance experience

  • Experience working in a regulated industry (i.e. GMP) and delivering within that environment
