Responsibilities
The Administrative Services Center enhances value for our business partners by developing and delivering effective and efficient administrative processes and solutions. The ASC organization works to develop solutions to provide a more efficient, consistent and value-added experience for business partners.
The Associate Director, ASC will provide supervision, professional development and coaching to a team of approximately 25-30 administrative assistants who comprise the ASC team supporting assigned Business Partners. The Associate Director must understand key business processes in order to proactively assign work, balance workloads, ensure adherence to deadlines, enable shared learning, identify and address process improvements, and continuously improve productivity, service and quality. Through collaboration with the ASC leadership team, the Associate Director will ensure consistent implementation and service level delivery across the company. Additionally, the Associate Director will lead ad hoc projects to drive continuous improvement across the ASC operations or advance the ASC strategy.
Key Responsibilities/Deliverables:
Ensure proper staffing, training, performance management, people development, and coaching
Partner with other Associate Directors and Sr. Director in the organization to define and deliver metrics that will help measure the quality of the services provided by the team
Manage a budget for the organization in partnership with the Sr. Director.
Understand and influence the business areas and key business processes, in order to establish the right consistent standards and expectations across all teams that align with the needs of the business and administrative professionals
Identify process improvements and continuously improve productivity, service and quality
Manage transparent communications across the ASC and throughout the company as needed relative to administrative support
Develop strong business relationships with business partners to obtain/maintain in-depth knowledge of needs, share the ASC strategy, represent those needs to the ASC Lead Team and translate them into service solutions.
Direct and balance workloads, and manage a reliable system of backup and overflow support.
Provide direction and coaching to ensure execution with quality and integrity; ensure collaboration, support, and consistent execution across administrative roles.
Establish consistent baseline performance standards and expectations that align with the needs of various functional work groups.
Identify and solve a range of organizational and operational problems and technical challenges, as well as forecast future business planning needs.
Lead and support projects to establish common, efficient, and effective administrative services processes and standards and advance the strategy of the Administrative Service Center.
Understand any business unit/functional data, document systems and controls and ensure implementation and adherence.
Streamline administrative processes and seek opportunities to leverage technology and other tools to improve team and individual productivity.
Basic Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree
Minimum 3 years of leadership or HR experience, preferably with demonstrated performance management, development, engagement and capacity planning experience.

Additional Skills/Preferences
Previous supervisory experience.
Extensive Microsoft Excel, Word, Power-point knowledge and experience. Proficiency with IT systems.
Leadership: Demonstrated ownership of improvement projects; recognized for influencing direction for the success of the outcome.
Operational excellence: Demonstrated ability to perform in a service organization, consistently meeting requirements and using data systems effectively.
Demonstrated knowledge of key HR processes.
Prior administrative assistant experience.
Demonstrated experience working across functional/geographical boundaries effectively in order to achieve business outcomes.
Strong communication skills (oral and written).
Adaptability/Learning Agility: Ability to adapt quickly to complex situations, learn while doing, and navigate through an ambiguity effectively.
Influence: Ability to influence people at different levels of the organization, to accept operations and workforce administration needs and constraints.
