What you’ll be doing

As part of a collaborative team of versatile professionals focused on clinical development, you will lead the delivery of the strategy and roadmap for your products to deliver business results and financial objectives. You will focus on collaborating with technical, business, and financial partners to set priorities, lead new development and operations, and provide direction and oversight to product teams.

How you will succeed

  • Employ deep understanding of business needs and processes to advise product priorities and improvement recommendations.

  • Foster strong relationships with product stakeholders and customers.

  • Strategize, plan, and lead all aspects of product development from inception to market launch.

  • Monitor business, market, and technology trends to guide product strategy and proactively propose new solutions.

  • Establish product roadmaps and release plans that satisfy requirements and achieve business outcomes.

  • Translate business needs into detailed product specifications.

  • Monitor and evaluate product performance and proactively champion product improvements.

  • Develop and implement resource strategies to line up with the skill requirements of product teams, ensuring successful delivery of product roadmaps.

  • Proactively identify and resolve impediments to achieve business objectives for the product, including technical and resourcing challenges.

  • Uphold alignment to organizational, fiscal, and IT standards, including architecture, regulatory compliance, and security protocols.

  • Increase the adoption and consumption of product capabilities.

  • Employ a return-on-investment methodology to improve product value.

  • Serve as product manager for multiple, related products.

  • Establish and supervise key product metrics to gauge performance and align with business goals and strategic direction.

  • Expertise in critical thinking and business area domain knowledge.

  • Keen ability to understand end user and customer needs.

  • Strong skills for building relationships and trust across diverse partners and customers.

  • Demonstrated success in defining, building, and managing products.

  • Strong collaboration and coordination skills to effectively deliver value across multiple related products simultaneously.

  • Experience identifying product resource requirements (e.g., people, funding) across the lifetime of a product.

  • Excellent problem solving and analytical skills.

  • Demonstrated the ability to communicate sophisticated information in a condensed manner to various team members verbally and in writing.

  • Advanced knowledge of agile frameworks (e.g., Scrum).

  • Familiarity with agile project management software such as JIRA and Confluence is preferred.

  • Product owner certifications (e.g., Certified Scrum Product Owner).

Your Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics, or an equivalent field.

  • 5+ years of technology program leadership experience with expertise in industry standard methodologies

  • 2+ years of experience in similar product leadership roles with technology, including experience with enterprise technology programs

Additional Information

  • Position requires work schedule flexibility, availability outside of regular business hours as needed to support business critical activities.

  • Travel Percentage: 0-10%
