Position Description:

The Associate, Global Employee Communications will coordinate content strategy for global and U.S. internal channels, identify ways to improve quality (both content and process), and collaborate with colleagues across communications and the business.

Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate content strategy and guidelines for LillyNow news and other internal channels, such as LillyTV and Yammer, find efficiencies, improve collaboration across communications, and maintain focus on top business priorities.

  • Write and edit content news for U.S. and global internal channels, in partnership with other Employee Communications team members.

  • Develop internal communication plans in partnership with and under the supervision of the Advisor, Global Employee Communications and other team members.

  • Collaborate across communications to identify new, creative approaches to engage employees.

  • Support enterprise communications with writing assignments and other communication activities (e.g., videos, town halls).

  • In partnership with IDS, act as primary contact and subject matter expert for LillyTV system. Identify opportunities for continuous improvement.

  • Serve as an administrator for LillyNow (global and U.S. news), LillyTV (digital signage), Yammer (internal social media) and inVision (video platform).

  • Oversee Employee Communications e-mail and calendaring for global, U.S. and Indianapolis employee audiences.

Basic Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in journalism, communications, public relations or related field

  • 3-4 years of communications experience

  • Qualified candidates must be legally authorized to be employed in the United States. Lilly does not anticipate providing sponsorship for employment visa status (e.g., H-1B or TN status) for this employment position
