Position Brand Description:

The Associate Consultant, Learning and Development, will lead the design, development and implementation of launch brand projects for Customer Support Programs, Next Level agent and Consumer Marketing training solutions and collaborate with multiple teams and seven key affiliates for the implementation of each program.

This position will report through the Lilly Marketing Institute within Global Marketing Capability organization and will interface directly with global and affiliate brand, Consumer Marketing and CSP/PSP personnel.

The Global Marketing Capability organization includes many teams, each focused on improving the customer experience through their unique efforts and expertise.

Key Objectives/Deliverables for CSP training:

Lead and Consult

  • Collaborate with global and affiliate brand and consumer teams and vendors to scope, plan and customize the CSP training program for affiliate of first launch for new brands and indications.

  • Ensure deliverables are high quality, meet brand expectations and follow adult learning and instructional design principles.

  • Ensure global approval (Medical, Legal, and Regulatory) prior to training implementation.

  • Integrate brand resources and the desired patient experience into each solution through partnership with the brand team and vendor.

  • Plan, coordinate and oversee train-the-trainer programs for each program (US and OUS).

Sustain and Manage

  • Contract with vendors and monitor the quality of learning solutions to ensure brand expectations are met.

  • Oversee project budget.

  • Monitor and consistently communicate project status to key business partners.

  • Anticipate and resolve project issues; escalate as appropriate.

Enhance and Maintain

  • Establish next level training modules for experienced Customer Care Center agents.

  • Consult on the creation of ongoing practice materials and scenarios for use by brands and affiliates in partnership with the contracted vendor.

Additional Skills/Preferences:

  • Masters of Science

  • Experience in Adult education, Instructional Systems Technology, or closely related field.

  • Experience supporting a Marketing function

  • Excellent project management skills.

  • Proven experience managing vendors

  • Highly organized with the ability to prioritize in a changing environment

  • Demonstrates initiative

  • Effectively solves problems and takes appropriate action

  • Respects and leverages the expertise and work experience of others in a way that encourages collaboration, innovation and commitment to common vision

  • Makes necessary trade offs in order to maintain focus on accomplishing the goal

Additional Information:

  • This position is not permanent. It is for a fixed duration of 6-8 months with potential to extend annually for up to 4 years.

  • Minimal travel (OUS or US) may be required

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor of Science Degree

  • 5 years demonstrated experience in learning and development, including experience in instructional design, analysis, and evaluation of learning solutions.
