It's an exciting time to be a part of Team Lilly! Our ADME group is growing, and we are looking for hardworking scientists to join us. Lilly is seeking a laboratory associate to contribute to the implementation and operation of an ADME in vitro screening laboratory that will be integral to the advancement of our small molecule discovery portfolio. You will help implement high-throughput in vitro assays optimized to speed data delivery The successful candidate will have in vitro assay and automation skills.

Do you have basic knowledge of properties and/or enzyme systems responsible for absorption, distribution, metabolism, and excretion of xenobiotics? We need someone who has experience with high throughput automation platforms. Check out this role and apply today!

Responsibilities:

  • Contribute to the validation, implementation and execution of in vitro enzymatic assays and methods including, but not limited to, CYP P450 inhibition, plasma stability, solubility, and microsomal clearance.

  • Contribute to and drive efforts to optimize turnaround time and resource needs for the implementation of in vitro enzymatic assays

  • Responsible for ensuring the quality of the data generated from the assays is acceptable and consistent.

  • Assist in enabling an ADME in vitro laboratory which includes collaborations with facilities, health and safety and technical experts.

  • Evaluate and implement new technologies and digital solutions to optimize productivity.

  • Perform administrative tasks associated with laboratory safety, maintenance, and operation.

  • Serve as QC/QR reviewer for data notebooks and documents

Basic Qualifications:

  • BS degree in biology, pharmacology, chemistry, or related subject area

  • Experience with in vitro laboratory techniques

Additional skills/preferences:

  • Ability to rapidly learn new concepts and to work independently to develop assays/methods.

  • Strong written, verbal communication and project management skills

  • Demonstrated results/experience working on interdisciplinary teams.
