Global Shared Services IDS is accountable for commercial and customer engagement platforms, services and capabilities that span all Business Units and geographies. The areas supported include Global Master Data, Global Customer Operations, Global Medical Affairs, Global PRA, Global Market Research, Global Patient Outcomes & Real-World Evidence, Transformation, Enterprise HealthCare Provider Engagement as well as the regional Marketing Operations, Commercial Operations, Omnichannel Hubs and PRA organizations.
Information Technology-Business Integration in Marketing requires an increasingly digital competency. The need to apply technology so that the business can better understand our customer needs and insights, as well as the requirement to increase productivity and efficiency is growing and becoming more sophisticated by the day. The area is continuously evolving-new products in the marketplace, new platforms, improvements to existing platforms, new data to report and new ways of operating.
Position Brand description:
This role will have special focus on the Lilly Market Research technology capabilities through the opportunity to support & integrate with other teams, having direct accountabilities for global market research applications, platforms & solutions deployment and adoption.
The purpose of this role is to solve business problems and improve business processes by identifying and ensuring the most appropriate solutions are deployed.
This role has a direct impact on customer experience and is a key strategic enabler to the commercialization of products across the world.

IDS account management/business integration for business area
Evaluate and leverage current technology investments to ensure efficiency and scalability
Partner with other organization to manage special projects
Author business cases, validation documentation and cost/benefit analysis to ensure capability is competitive, compliant and effective
Analyze existing processes and participate in reengineering efforts
Lead the definition and gathering of requirements & propose changes to existing services, systems and capabilities for the business area
Creates and contributes to the development of the OCM plan
Evaluates the application lifecycle against the solution architecture roadmap and executes appropriate retirement/replacement.
Serves as the business integrator between business partners & other IDS organizations (EI& P, etc…)
Participate in applying SAFE agile framework across the team
Contribute to ensure effective operations for both delivery and support of Assets in the area & ensure operational excellence
Accountable for vendor management services provided by TCS for the area
At least 2 years of previous experience working in information technology
Experience working directly with business partners & engaging business stakeholders
Proactive mindset that can solve issues and involve stakeholders as needed
Ability to understand business requirements and effectively translate business needs and process into technical terms, and vice versa
Strong learning agility
Strong self-management skills and ability to work in ambiguity
Experience successfully delivering IDS projects
Experience managing global platforms and systems
Broad technical & business relationship skills and acumen
Experience in BU IDS
Experience in pharmaceutical industry with knowledge of Lilly Quality Practice (LQP’s)
Experience working across multiple customer groups
Experience in fast pace problem management
Basic understanding of technical terminology and products (Power BI, Oracle, BPM , sales force repositories, Azure B2B, Watson explorer etc…)
Vendor Management experience
Strong verbal and written communication skills with high attention to detail
Demonstrate ability to work in a dynamic, constantly evolving environment
Demonstrated ability to influence without authority, including at senior levels, and successfully lead large, complex cross-functional projects
Experience translating complex, ambiguous concepts into actionable plans
Strong networking, interpersonal, and relationship building skills
