Lilly Consultant-IT Procurement in Indianapolis, Indiana
As part of Global Procurement, IT Procurement partners with their business customers to bring competitive advantage and innovation through the sourcing and management of suppliers. By understanding business requirements, analyzing spend data, and investigating the marketplace, IT Procurement develops category strategies for optimal value. These strategies are implemented via competitive bid process, online auctions, negotiations, contracting, and supplier relationship management. The IT Procurement Consultant will have an excellent opportunity to network, interact, influence, and impact all levels of senior management within IT due to the significant spend and strategic direction of IT software. The Consultant will provide account management services with Marketing & Sales IT, helping them meet their objectives via third party software sourcing efforts.
In addition, the Consultant will lead the Strategic Management Consulting sourcing category, working with senior executive management throughout the company to quickly identify, bid, negotiate, and contract with management consultants. Partnering with Corporate Strategy, the Lilly Executive Committee, and CPO Staff, the Consultant will engage in supplier relationship management and procurement process improvements to streamline sourcing while increasing value delivered.

Bachelor’s Degree in Business including Finance and Supply Chain or Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related technical field.
At least 5 years of Information Technology Strategic Sourcing Experience
