Lilly Consultant- Tax Forecasting/Reporting in Indianapolis, Indiana



The position is responsible for forecasting and reporting certain aspects of global income tax expense for the company, with an emphasis on leading the tax accounting for special transactions. This role has significant responsibilities related to quarterly and annual external reporting of tax accounts on the balance sheet, income tax footnote, and uncertain tax positions. The person in this position will work broadly across the global tax department gathering and analyzing U.S. federal, U.S. international, foreign and state tax information. The person in this role will also business-partner with departments outside of tax, mainly the financial reporting group.

Additional Skills/Preferences:

  • Bachelors Degree in Accounting preferred

  • CPA License Strongly Preferred

  • ASC 740 experience for a multinational company, especially related to uncertain tax positions

  • SEC tax reporting experience

  • Proven oral and written communication skills

  • Excellent organizational and self-management skills

  • Strong Excel expertise or aptitude

  • Strong interpersonal skills

  • Experience with ONESOURCE Tax Provision a plus

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelors Degree

  • 4+ years Income Tax and Tax Accounting experience in a corporate OR public accounting environment
