Lilly Counsel-MHS-Legal in Indianapolis, Indiana
This person will be responsible for counseling business partners within Lilly’s Managed Healthcare Services organization. Managed Healthcare Services is a shared function that resides within Lilly’s US affiliate and is responsible for all U.S. distribution, payer, and government contracts across all Lilly brands. It also administers customer support programs. The vast majority of the work will involve:
Drafting and reviewing pharmaceutical wholesaler and distribution contracts as well as private payer and group purchasing organization (GPO) contracts.
Reviewing patient support programs and counseling on coupon, grants and patient assistance programs.
Developing expertise with government price reporting and reimbursement issues
Advising corporate affairs functions on issues related to policy and legislative developments
Bio-pharmaceutical industry experience strongly preferred
Strong contract drafting abilities
Working knowledge of Pharmaceutical supply and payment chain
Familiarity with Anti-trust laws, Federal anti-kickback statue, and the Federal Food, Drug and Cosmetics act.
Government Price Reporting/Reimbursement Experience
Demonstrated leadership experience and abilities
Excellent communication skills
Able to manage multiple matters at the same time

3+ years private practice experience in a Law Firm setting
