Digital Health Organization Overview

We will work together to provide the best quality digital health solutions for our patients and their associated health care providers.

You will be responsible for developing and leading technical solutions supporting one or more Digital Health solutions. This begins with infrastructure team and project team engagement defining technical requirements and technology alignment. You will additionally perform a leadership role across solution leading other tech leads in how we develop mobile application following best practice while driving a mobile technology innovation roadmap.

Key Objectives/Deliverables:

  • You will develop and drive adoption of mobile development standards and architecture patterns across the organization

  • You will provide technical delivery of Digital Health software components including understanding and addressing risk, privacy, cybersecurity and legal constraints on project delivery

  • You will provide guidance to Lilly and non-Lilly software delivery teams in best practice Agile delivery of software components of Lilly’s Digital Health platform

  • You will align Digital Health technical solutions with Lilly supported technologies

  • You will provide technical evaluation of proposed project ideas, software changes and future product releases.

  • You will mentor more junior members of the technical team

  • You will drive the development and execution of a mobile innovation roadmap, including hands on development in new technology spaces directly connected to future Digital Health capabilities

  • You will build effective relationships with key technical resources and architects to influence technology solutions specifically related to Digital Health systems.

  • You will obtain and use knowledge of medical device delivery models and quality system to ensure solutions align with regulatory expectations and meet regulatory timelines

  • You will obtain and bring to bear knowledge of Digital Health business processes and technology to ensure solution deliveries are consistent with the strategy and roadmap

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or similar discipline.

  • 5 years of hands-on technical experience with mobile applications or modern web technologies.

Additional Skills/Preferences

  • Proven technical leadership experience in delivery of IT projects

  • Demonstrable examples of leading software design and architecture.

  • Software development experience with iOS and/or Android applications

  • Experience with Agile software development preferably with an onshore-offshore model

  • Experience in a regulated software development environment

  • Demonstrated ability to influence peers

  • Proven initiative to build relationships, learn new technologies and seek opportunities

  • Experience with Bluetooth BLE protocol

  • Experience with identity mgmt. or authentication providers (Okta preferred)

  • Experience utilizing Atlassian (JIRA/Confluence) or similar toolsets

  • Experience with GitHub

  • Experience with mobile application SDK development

  • Experience with CI/CD capabilities
