The Advanced Analytics and Data Sciences (AADS) organization is leading Lilly as a Data and Analytics Powerhouse, driving differentiating scientific and business impact. AADS brings together data management capabilities and analytic delivery for all of Lilly.
This role will have primary responsibly for enterprise data management and governance for patient and consumer data in the EDB. This includes responsibilities for ensuring that data policies and standards are defined, understood, and enforced. This role will partner closely with consumer and patient data owners and stakeholders to define data product needs to deliver strategic accounts across various business initiatives. Secondary, responsibilities for engaging in definition and optimization of enterprise data management governance capabilities broadly across the Enterprise Data Office.
Patient/Consumer Data Steward Responsibilities:
Define data elements and establish policies and procedures related to the collection and accuracy of the consumer/patient data (Profile, Consent and transactional) in the EDB.
Create processes and procedures along with access controls to monitor adherence. This includes establishing internal policies and standards as needed.
Maintain quality of the data using customer feedback, concerns, questions; internally reporting metrics; evaluating and identifying issues; and coordinating and implementing corrections regularly.
Optimize workflows and communications with stakeholders.
Monitor data usage to assist teams, share best practice trends in data use, and provide insight into how and where teams can use data to help in day-to-day decision-making.
Build strong partnership with GPO (Global Privacy Office), Legal and Ethics to ensure compliance and security of the data through identification of potential risks and offering privacy guidance.
Lead the identification of opportunities pertaining to the use of data assets/products to achieve efficiency and effectiveness and utilize data as a strategic business asset.
Executes acceptance tests on data to ensure quality data products.
EDO Data Governance and Optimization
Support the definition of reusable data governance frameworks.
Support the definition and optimization of roles and responsibilities related to data governance.
Support the definition and optimization of enterprise data governance policies
At least 3 years experience with Information Management principals and framework
