Responsibilities
The primary focus of the Financial Analyst includes monthly reporting, forecasting, planning (strategic plan and business plan) and business decision analysis. Ability to influence leadership, interpret performance drivers and present complex financial information are key capabilities for this position. In addition, this position will be responsible for expense and/or capital controllership, execution of SOx controls and implementing financial tools and process improvements.
Provide financial leadership to enable business to achieve strategic and operational goals
Ensure appropriate financial controls exist for all income statement and balance sheet accounts
Coordinate processes for strategic planning, annual business plan and quarterly forecasts
Prepare and present monthly financial results and explain primary drivers of business performance to leadership
Develop and implement best practices and process improvements across all aspects of the role
Serve as the subject matter expert to the business on financial policy, internal controls, and certain accounting matters
Business partnership, financial modeling, and scenario analysis to support leadership and business partners on key initiatives, productivity improvements and related operational decisions
Basic Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting or Economics
At least 1 year of experience in Finance or Accounting roles

Additional Skills/Preferences
Understanding of basic accounting principles and financial controls
Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel and financial modeling
Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
Ability to interact with all levels of management
Demonstrated leadership and decision-making skills
Strong organizational and planning skills
Knowledge of SAP
