Organization Overview

The ERP Services IDS organization is responsible to provide support and advancement of enterprise grade solutions that power the operations of Eli Lilly. The SAP Supply Chain, Manufacturing and Quality (SCM) Functional Data Analyst is responsible for defining, driving and supporting implementation of long-term strategic plans, establishing processes and procedures to ensure compliance with data sharing and data integrity policies and procedures. The role is required to work across various teams and business process; and assisting the business shape the future using technology and information in new ways. This position will maintain compliant and in control operations processes surrounding data sharing and data integrity principles and drive them to increasingly higher levels of efficiency. This position will report to the Information and Digital Services Global Services Organization, SAP Supply Chain Management group.

Key Objectives/Deliverables

  • Lead the design, development and support of processes and policies required to ensure that SAP SCM data is shared, managed and handle in accordance with Lilly Quality Policies.

  • Partner with and influence leadership, other Architects, SAP Technical Team, and external partners to maintain effective SAP SCM data sharing processes and governance.

  • Provide technical leadership, coaching and mentoring regarding data sharing principles and architecture.

  • Partner with the SAP Infrastructure Integration Architects to develop and implement effective integration approaches and development standards to ensure robust solutions SCM solutions

  • Identify and lead initiatives to identify an inventory of all SAP SCM integrations and custom objects

  • Lead development of robust testing strategies for SAP SCM integrations; including considerations for release activity, environment changes or other

  • Work directly with business to research, troubleshoot, and lead resolution for issues

  • Effectively prioritize and escalate issues

  • Continuously improve the operations of the SAP SCM team

Basic Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems or related field

  • At least 2 years experience in Supply Chain Management, Quality or related field

  • Experience engaging with business stakeholders directly, in some cases from different countries

  • Ability to understand business requirements and effectively translate business needs and process into technical terms, and vice versa.

  • Experience working across multiple customer groups

  • Pharmaceutical or healthcare industry experience

  • Prior SAP experience
