Position Description:
This role is part of the Global MES CoE Team whose purpose is to deliver and support Manufacturing Execution Systems through Rockwell Automation solutions (presently Global PMX, and in short terms Pharma Suite), to enable Pharma Manufacturing sites to deliver world class performance. This position leads a group of dedicated global contractors and focuses on the following key elements:
Partner with Sites on support of MES operations
Partner with Rockwell Automation (the Vendor) on issues resolution
Understand priority of the sites in terms of severity and criticality of the support process
Ensure value from MES applications through their availability and reliability
Coordinate with other Global IDS teams to ensure continuity of operations
Monitor the support process metrics
Support Periodic Review process
Organization of PMX installations and MES environments upgrade and patching
Lead emergency releases and their validation
Key Objectives/Deliverables
Operational / Support activities of PMX
Facilitates Incidents resolution and root cause analysis in case of critical issues
Escalates critical Incidents to Lilly Management
Escalates and follow-ups critical Incidents with the Vendor
Stabilization of new sites/new versions of PMX
Creates installation plans with sites and the vendor
Prepares the stabilization phase and makes sure that necessary level of support is in place
Organizes and leads updates during stabilization phase
Team Service Level review
Review regularly the Incidents assigned to the team
Makes sure Incidents are documented according to the applicable SOP
Reviews support metrics with the vendor, in case take appropriate actions
Responsible of Global PMX installations
Responsible of various documents: SOP, IVI, IR, installation test scripts that drive installations
Manages PMX installation roadmap
Coordinates the upgrades with the site representative and the vendor
Pharma Suite support
Collaborates with MQuEST leadership for design and implementation of Pharma Suite support structure and processes
Progressively takes the leadership of Pharma Suite support
Overlaps PMX activity (progressively declining) with Pharma Suite (progressively replacing PMX)
Basic Qualifications:
College Degree, or equivalent working experience
Fluent English written and spoken
Good knowledge of Global PMX systems, particularly DPN and PPN versions
Good knowledge of Lilly IDS ecosystem and IDS Infrastructure components at Pharma sites
Deep knowledge of the pharmaceutical processes and GMP
Significant experience in working for Pharma sites, in particular projects and support activity
Significant experience in global projects in M&Q IDS area, preferably MES
Experience in Computer System Validation process
Good communication skills, ability to quickly establish professional relationships in a global environment, ability to lead a team of people

As this position serves a global organization, off hours and weekend work is expected
Availability to travel to Pharma plants (US, Europe, China) is required (about 10% of time)
