Description
The Global Engineering & HSE IDS organization delivers and maintains applications that support our Facilities, Utilities, Maintenance, and Engineering (FUME) Business Partners. The team works in partnership with site and global representatives from these organizations to define business needs and provide solutions.
The MQ IDS Analyst – ENG is an integral part of delivering, maintaining, and supporting computer systems. The Analyst participates in the execution of the MQ IDS roadmap for Global Engineering, works with business partners to optimize the use of existing solutions, and maintains those solutions in a state of regulatory compliance. The Analyst will work as part of a team that includes the MQ IDS Service Delivery Lead, Business Process Architect, Support Team, Solution Suppliers, and Business Partners.
Role and Responsibilities
For those computer systems for which the Analyst is designated:
Fully integrate computer systems validation principles into daily work and ensure system is appropriately validated
Manage and document impact of all upgrades and patches
Ensure system upgrades and deployments are communicated and executed effectively
Influence solution providers and business partners in development and delivery of new solutions and upgrades
Develop deep understanding of business processes supported by the computer systems
Ensure that incident, problem, configuration, and change/release management are all done with alignment and understanding of business need
Supports user acceptance testing and acceptance criteria
Participates in design reviews to ensure traceability of requirements
Work with system owners and application support personnel to identify opportunities for system improvements
Develop and leverage contacts throughout MQ IDS and other IDS groups to identify solutions to meet business partner’s needs, re-use and learning opportunities
Execute periodic reviews and other CAPAs for systems within individual area of responsibility
Participate in audits, inspection, and readiness activities
Ensures appropriate business roles are engaged in solution execution
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in at least one of the following disciplines: IT/IS or Engineering or equivalent programs
Preferred Skills
5-7 year experience in Manufacturing and Engineering
Experience supporting the IDS needs of pharma manufacturing operations
Knowledge of the FUME business area
Experience working globally across organizational levels and in a multicultural environment
Strong problem identification and resolution skills
Good communication skills
Excellent customer service
Teamwork/Interpersonal skills
Available to interact significantly with business partners in EST time zone

Potential for travel (<5% if in Indy; 5-10% if outside of Indy)
