Lilly USA IDS Customer Operations and Data Enablement (CODE) team is responsible for driving technology innovation for the US Affiliate. You will primarily focus on data integration and analytic solution delivery. This position will report to the IT manager primarily responsible for solution delivery and innovation.

Responsibilities:

In this role, you will:

  • Develop data-centric solutions to be used by business teams within the US Sales and Marketing Affiliate

  • Ensure the availability and quality of data needed for analysis and business transactions. This includes data integration, acquisition, cleansing, harmonization and transforming raw data into curated datasets for data science, data discovery, and BI/analytics

  • Consult with internal customers to develop analyses that lead to actionable insights

  • Work with data from multiple internal and external data sources to create integrated views to be used in driving decisions

  • Develop expertise of processes and data used by business functions within the US Affiliate

  • Own data assets from development through support life cycle

  • Engage with business and proactively seeks opportunities to deliver business value.

  • Understand business requirements and effectively translates business needs and process into technical requirements, and vice versa

  • Network with appropriate IT colleagues to determine solutions to meet business partners’ needs.

  • Seek opportunities to reuse existing processes and services to streamline support and implementation of key systems.

  • Stay abreast of tools and technologies to influence IT strategy so that it provides best usage opportunities for business

  • Ability to adapt quickly in a constantly changing environment

  • Understand the key elements of the project related data and business usage

  • Ensure solutions adhere to quality, compliance, Protect Lilly, and Data Usage requirements

  • Partner with service manager and operations team to ensure solutions are sustainable and professionally managed

Basic Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, management information systems or related field

  • Minimum of 2 years of IT experience

  • Experience with cloud technologies such as AWS or Azure

  • Experience with analytics and business intelligence solutions such as Tableau or PowerBI

Additional Skills/Preferences:

  • Familiar with the technical architecture associated with databases and analytics environments and experience working in SQL and/or Python

  • A high level of intellectual curiosity, external perspective, and innovation interest

  • Strong analytical, problem solving and investigative skills

  • Experience in applying quality and compliance requirements

  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written

  • Solid background in Information Technology with demonstrated ability to quickly learn new technology and business process

  • Demonstrated interpersonal skills, teamwork and people development

  • Ability to communicate proactively and effectively with IT and business stakeholders

  • Positive, customer-focused, and energetic attitude

  • Demonstrated ability to quickly learn new technology areas (Strong learning agility)

  • Expertise with IT environment to be able to match business needs with available IT solutions

  • Agile development experience (product owner, scrum master)

  • B2B, Sales, Marketing experience

  • Skilled in UI/UX

  • Vendor resource project oversight

  • Business Intelligence Certifications

  • Data Modeler/Data Engineering experience

  • SAFe and ITIL certifications
