The Global Lab Information and Data Solutions (IDS) team delivers and maintains applications that support the Global Lab organization at Lilly. This team is part of the broader Manufacturing and Quality (M&Q) IDS organization that continues to transform as we look to the digital plant of the future and support manufacturing operational excellence and productivity efforts maximizing the use of technology and analytics.
The Global Lab IDS team works in partnership with the Global Lab business central and site representatives to define business needs and provide solutions for Lab. This team is responsible for the support and solution delivery of IT tools that support the Global Lab business application portfolio, such as LIMS, LES, ELN, CDS, and Lab intelligence solution.
A key role in the Global Lab organization is the Technical Integrator position who enables the interconnection across different technologies/applications. Their primary goal is to effectively integrate information and technology.
You will be the technical expert on Quality Control Laboratory applications, understand the IT Architecture and how do they interface with other systems outside the labs.
You will anticipate and understand the broad implication of technical decisions over the integration of lab applications.
You will enable effective information flow across IT and business processes
Responsible of implementing innovative approaches when integrating new technologies supporting business transformation.
You will provide effective guidance on how to design and implement solutions for optimal use and in compliance with regulatory and security standards.
You will perform or support data integration.
Responsible of defining service support requirements across multiple technologies to ensure appropriate levels of support across entire technology solution.
Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
Minimum 4 years of relevant manufacturing or QC Lab IT experience.
Demonstrated learning agility both technically as well as business processes and applications.
Demonstrated experience with distributed (S95 Level 3) solutions, commercial configurable software (COTS) suppliers, and business intelligence.
Experience working globally across organizational levels and OUS cultures
Demonstrated ability to establish key relationships with those outside of the immediate business area.
Deep understanding of GMP, CRF 21 part 11, data integrity requirements and experience delivering within those requirements.
Experience working with Windows, Linux and Oracle platforms.
Experience working with on prem and cloud systems.
Knowledge of QC Lab operations or Manufacturing operations
Experience working as part of a manufacturing site
Experience with Agile Scrum, Critical Chain, and ITIL methodologies
Location:Position can be performed from US or European Lilly Manufacturing sites
US & OUS travel could be required
M&Q operates on a 24/7 schedule requiring work off hours and on weekends as needed
