The Lilly Professional Apprenticeship Program is a 12-month intensive fixed duration (FDE) professional development program during which the apprentice receives a combination of formal training, on-the-job learning, and mentoring in a key functional area to be equipped to compete for a Lilly position after successful completion of the apprenticeship.
Lilly is seeking a Marketing Operations Apprentice who shares our passion for making life better for people around the world. The purpose of the Marketing Operations Apprentice is to partner with a product brand team, creative agencies, and internal partners to help deliver on our promotional material plans with quality, speed, value and compliance. The Marketing Operations Apprentice will develop a foundation of marketing operations knowledge and gain exposure to multiple business and functional areas; including but not limited to project management, marketing material approval systems, metrics, advertising and promotional requirements for our industry, audit readiness, and will gain experience working across a diverse team to deliver results for our company and our customers. With coaching and feedback, Lilly will provide you the ability to further your growth as a professional within the organization.
Demonstrate understanding of your role and associated work, information and material flows, processes, procedures, systems and methods.
Develop understanding of Lilly’s compliance standards and quality requirements (e.g., CIQ, MLR processes, key content approval, FDA, etc.).
Learn sufficient understanding of IT language, systems and processes we use in marketing operations
Develop working knowledge of Medical, Legal and Regulatory “areas of concern” for their brands/indications
Make patients’ lives better, embrace Team Lilly, invite and adopt change, and advocate for the organization while getting work done compliantly
Gain experience defining, overseeing, and maintaining a timeline for tactics in partnership with internal and external agency, brand, and reviewer partners
Ensure the timely and successful delivery of solutions according to marketing needs and objectives
Proactively identify and resolve issues before they impact the business
Partner with internal creative services teams to deliver tactics
Delivering on day-to-day responsibilities and leading innovation with excellence by listening, assessing, recommending and executing
HS Diploma or Equivalent and 3 or more years of related or professional experience. Proven experience with Microsoft Office Products (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

Completion of Post Offer Exam or Completion of Work Simulation if applicable.
At least 1 year of college and/or associate degree in a related field.
Experience, knowledge and desire to work in Pharma / Healthcare
Preferred background a corporate setting
Experience within a regulated industry
Experience with project management, timelines, and task management
Excellent interpersonal and networking skills
Effective written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work well in a team environment
Strong organizing/multi-tasking skills and attention to detail
Learning agility and self-management skills
Strong research and analytical skills
