Lilly MBA Technology Management – Intern to Full-Time in Indianapolis, Indiana

Information Technology Overview:

We are seeking candidates who are committed to an initial assignment in their country of origin, which provides a foundational platform to learn the industry, make a difference in the lives of our customers, and influence how information and technology can make a significant impact to both.

The global nature and strategic importance of information technology at Lilly provides numerous career paths for professional development geared towards a role in senior management. MBA assignments will very in nature from identifying business opportunities and technology solutions which advance our strategy, to leading global change programs, or driving six sigma initiatives. MBAs are expected to demonstrate an ability to learn quickly, work in cross-functional teams, anticipate and remove barriers, communicate concisely and clearly, but most importantly demonstrate leadership. As an MBA at Lilly, you will join Lilly’s Leadership Development Program (LLDP) – designed to accelerate the development of Lilly’s future leaders via direct interaction and exposure to senior executives through social events, opportunities to participate in high-profile executive-sponsored projects, and the potential to pursue international assignments. You will also be exposed to a variety of development opportunities within the IT organization as well.

Requirements:

  • Successful completion of Lilly internship program

  • Enrolled in an MBA program

  • Expected graduation by August 2021

  • Language fluency in English (both written and verbal)

De sir ed Experience and Skills:

  • 3 to 7 years of professional work experience with growing responsibilities in information and technology or relevant IT disciplines. Relevant work experience in other disciplines and industries may also be considered.

  • Demonstrated leadership

  • Previous pharmaceutical or healthcare experience is a plus, but not a requirement

  • Searches for solutions through solid critical thinking and problem solving skills

  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate and influence

  • Demonstrated examples of flexibility and adaptability in a variety of situations

  • Curious, with a strong desire to learn IT and the business, in order to drive continuous improvement and innovative change; not satisfied with the status quo

  • Passion for improving healthcare, by recognizing how information and technology applied at the right time, at the right moment, and in the right manner, can enable our business to deliver improved outcomes for our customers.
