Organization Overview:

The Manufacturing and Quality IDS organization (MQ IDS) is embarking on a multi-year journey to implement the next generation Manufacturing Execution System (MES) for drug product sites across the world.

This project will have high visibility within the MQ organization and directly impact making medicine for our patients.

Responsibilities:

This BPA position will be part of global MQ IDS Supply Chain team, reporting to the NG MES program leader.

He/she will contribute to the NG MES global design/build and validation, drive the delivery of NG MES solution and electronic tickets to assigned sites, work with assigned sites to facilitate NG MES adoption and gather future evolution needs.

Key Objectives/Deliverables:

· Be an expert in the business use of NG MES application

· Accurately translate business processes (manufacturing, dispensing, packaging), into technical terms, and vice versa

· Build and maintain awareness and knowledge of regulatory, legal, or quality requirements impacting the business areas, and ensure that solution requirements comply

· Propose tickets architecture based on global strategy and sites’ processes

· Understand, influence, and evolve the design of NG MES in relation to the sites’ needs and global harmonization strategy

· Cooperate with NG MES team members and third parties for NG MES delivery

Basic Requirements:

  • University Degree, preferrable in Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience as Business Integrator or Project Leader with Manufacturing or Supply Chain

  • Deep understanding of a MES (Pharmasuite system preferred), how it is used to support the business processes and its integration with other solutions

  • Understanding of GMP requirements, experience delivering them, experience in Computer System Validation process

  • Qualified candidates must be legally authorized to be employed in the United States. Lilly does not anticipate providing sponsorship for employment visa status (e.g., H-1B or TN status) for this employment position

Additional Skills/Preferences:

  • Ability to break long-term strategic plan into shorter programs/projects

  • Strong ability to effectively communicate with business stakeholders and IDS subject matter experts, understanding and speaking the language of both

  • Experience working globally across organizational levels and cultures

  • Demonstrated ability to influence without authority

  • Demonstrated ability to analyze, anticipate, and resolve complex issues (technical, operational, or business-related) through sound problem-solving skills

  • Demonstrated learning agility and curiosity

  • Demonstrated ability to evaluate, facilitate, and drive towards risk-based decision making

  • Desire and ability to communicate using a variety of methods in diverse forums

  • Strong account management skills, including research, listening, effective communication and presentation

Additional Information:

  • Position must be in Indianapolis, Charlotte, Raleigh-Durham, Alcobendas, Puerto Rico, Sesto, or Fegersheim

  • Full time day shift position

  • As this position serves a global organization, occasional off hours and weekend work is expected

  • Some (10-15%) domestic and/or international travel will be required
