At Lilly, our Global Pharmacokinetics/Pharmacodynamics and Pharmacometrics Department is seeking top talent. Our PK/PD & Pharmacometrics scientists lead projects from drug discovery to clinical development and approval. We focus on finding the right dose of the right drug for the right patient, embracing the model-informed drug discovery and development (MIDD) approach.

Responsibilities:
We are seeking quantitative-minded scientists who will:
Provide PK/PD (clinical pharmacology) scientific leadership to project teams to support the selection of the right target, molecule, dose, patient population, and development strategies.
Lead PK/PD (clinical pharmacology) aspects of project team plans and integrate quantitative approaches into drug discovery and/or development
Communicate quantitative data and advocate for model-based decision making
Provide coaching and mentoring to other scientists within the department and in other areas as well as interact, teach and collaborate with academia.
Represent the group to increase visibility externally, through key publications, active leadership in key scientific organizations, industry trade groups, or consortia.
Basic Qualifications:
PhD in DMPK, Clinical Pharmacology, Pharmacometrics, Pharmacokinetics/Pharmacodynamics, Pharmaceutics, Biology, Computational Sciences, Engineering, Chemistry, Statistics, Toxicology, or a related field
Or, MS and at least 5 years industry or academic experience in PBPK, Clinical Pharmacology, QSP, PK/PD, exposure-response modeling, clinical trial simulation, drug-drug interactions, special populations, or other modeling & simulation related field.
Additional Skills/Preferences:
Experience using relevant software such as Phoenix, NONMEM, R, SimCYP, Gastroplus, Monolix, Python, MATLAB, or similar
Adept at working with cross-functional colleagues
In-depth knowledge of clinical pharmacology, pharmacokinetics, and/or pharmacodynamics, with the ability to clearly communicate theories and concepts.
Excellent self-management and organizational skills
Demonstrated strong communication skills
